Thanks for your input. Haha. I actually went and survey and ask some shop, 1 suggested me mitsubishi Mr. Slim and get a seperate plasma purifier. They told me the plasma purifying function integrated in the air cond is very weak, if really want then should get a stand alone air purifier for better result. And mitsubishi is more long lasting, faster cooling and quiet compare to daikin.

Do you happen to know if Mit > Daikin? Price also more less the same for 1hp.

finally got my pana x-premium installed, when i use iAUTO-X, the air cond like blasting at full power all the time and quite noisy, is it normal?

i thought it will automatic adjust the power....

Does anyone have this problem? My AC blower wheel gets dirty very quickly. When this happens the compressor gets very noisy. Once I cleaned the blower wheel is ok.

I got National model (90s)whereby some parts of the indoor unit like the motor and blower is semi faulty, but outdoor unit still good. Is there anyway to replace the broken parts inside the indoor unit? The a.c. repairman said the model is discontinued thus won't be able to get anymore replacement parts is this true?
National brand air-cond from that era were much reliable than Panasonic today right?

Also wonder why those National Aircon indoor unit were way slimmer than the bulky ones today?

It's actually CS-903KM. Either CS/CU i think this the region code.

What breaks is the bushings if the blower wheel. Once detached or out of alignment, grinding noise happens and may stop the wheel movement completely. May I  know is bushings originally molded into the blower? Or is it attached only by glue? The foreman had tried various tricks like saying he went to buy a new bushing and then use Super glue to paste the bushing onto the wheel. It last for a few months and then it breaks again. Also the blower motor is generating bearing noises which the foreman said is something he can't fix as he dont have the motor for this discontinued aircond.

Im not exactly sure what happens with my unit, probably something went loose somewhere hence the foreman kept apply superglue and it detached again soon after, not durable. I suspect something was broken during one time we called then to wash the air-cond and the blower bush problem started happening, before that all was good except the motor bearing noise which was bearable if we don't set the fan speed to medium or high.

Thinking back, it could be that the blower bracket is broken? 1st time we called them to repair, they didn't mention about bush. What they did was took out the blower and superglued something on the little screw hole at the end of the tube, either 1 or both sides. second time, they said they replaced the bushing, also did some superglue fix that I can't see clearly where they fix

I am installing a 3rd unit ac , keeping it to panansonic as the other 2 is same. although i like the Media All easy pro for ease of self cleaning.

Does anyone know how to reduce compressor noise from being heard inside the room? We have a Louvre style windows bedroom, the type of window pane like our government classroom. We mounted the compressor outside directly under the Louvre window and we could hear a constant humming and whirring of the motor even when inside is set to Quiet Mode it is even more audible.

It's Panasonic CS-PN9WKH. Wonder if anyone has this can comment if your compressor sounds loud?

2) Which have a higher energy-efficient Digital Inverter that helps to reduce energy consumption?

I calculated BTU in my room at 8000btu.
A 1hp Daikin is 9000btu and 1hp Panasonic is 9400btu. Is this sufficient?

Generally how much tolerance of btu is required so that the a/c don’t over run?

For a split air conditioner, can you insulate the gas and liquid coil together in a single sleeve?

Hi all, want to ask why my air con having bad smell when turned on? gone after few sec.. fairly new aircon 6month, not using everyday..

    seriously? but i take off the filter, i dono see anything inside there... only abit of dust in the filter..

hi, i also have a question here...my aircond usualy generate the jelly and will cause blockage... it is a very old air cond and i find the jelly occurance more frequent lately...
will it help if i change to a new aircond?

after i wash the filter, less bad smell but its still there.. any advise?
