Thinking of getting either 1 of this model for my house  - both have wifi and good btu- has anyone got any issues with their midea?

the living hall and master bedroom will be getting the panasonic  but considering the midea as well
X-DELUXE R32 AERO SERIES 2 hp  (Btu/h : 19,000) RM2,769.00  vs
Midea 2.0 hp (18,000 btu)  RM1,919.00

and

Pana X-DELUXE R32 AERO SERIES 1.5 hp  (Cooling Capacity : 12,500btu) RM1,899.00 vs
Midea 1.5 hp (12,000 btu) RM1,319.00
Should I use the Pana for the masterbedroom and hall (for reliability ) and the rest midea? (these are not so heavily used but will still be lighly used (ie night only - versus these 2 areas which will be more)

price wise midea seems very very competitive...appreciate your thoughts. I like both brands because have WIFI

Noticed that my house come with the electric power point for aircon, the socket without any switch, just wiring, so my question, if i install aircon and connect power to the power point directly, which mean the aircon will always get power supply because no switch on the power socket, will this consume more electricity? what if the aircon not always on, maybe 1 or 2 times in a week.

Another question on installing aircon, i saw shopee advertise RM20 per ft on piping, does this include drilling?

What about charges for drilling a hole to let the copper piping pass through? What the markets rate?

Where is the location.. I ask kv all 250-350...lol

Can I just buy compressor only ?

I asked quite number of installer.. At least 5..some quote cheap like 220 but then after come said this not include that not included.. Add add become near 300..so I just wonder your price is in Klang Valley or do you mind sharing the contact?

this thing in standard installation, is it 1 pair or 1 'tube' only?
meaning, 10feet total pipe (for both charge and discharge)? or 20feet (10feet charge, 10feet discharge)?

nope. AC unit no long piping.
as i see it, when they say need extra piping, seems like usually they overcharge customer.

as standard install include 10feet (if its calculated in pair) supposed its cukup already... but somehow still need add extra add-ons.. it like the standard included piping only 10feet cut in half (5feet in, 5feet dis)..

Just a quick one for all the sifu's in here. I'm planning my apartment reno and just need a bit of feedback/guidance in relation to planning my air-cond purchase.

My living and dining space area is a fat "L" shape and floor space is around 511 sq ft with average height ceilings of around 2.5 to 2.6 m. Based on calculations, would 2 air-con units of 1.5 HP each (1.5 HP x 2 units) be good?

Hello guys, I have a Panasonic 1.0HP Standard Air Conditioner CS-PC9MKH. Back in 30th of September, I asked a company to service the aircond which literally dismantle the whole unit to "wash".

Unfortunately, after that dismantle, the unit would turn off itself sometime in the middle of night and now the whole unit fully dead. Before fully dead, I tried to turn it on for one more time, it turns on and died right on when compressor try to kick in.

Anybody got any idea what's going on? By the way, they broke my aircond indoor unit cover hinge as well. ;sweat;

My aircond has knocking sound occasionally that would only go off after I switched it off and turn it back on again? What could potentially be the issue?

Just wondering whether the brand new Panasonic X deluxe is reliable? Thinking of getting this model but friend told me that Midea or GREE currently are better bang for bucks.

Hi all, Have a few questions when comes to Aircond fan speed. Usually which speed do you all use? Fan auto and let the blower decide or Fix at 1 fan speed level? Is there any difference when comes to inverter and non-inverter in the fan speed setting?

1. For my living room, im using 2hp non-inverter and set to auto fan speed but the fan seem to be high power all the time and not as cold as if i set at speed 1 or 2.

Which will reduce electricity consumption better?

Hi.. I was told by a technician that the ac compressor should be left on the floor instead of hanging on the wall. easy during maintenance and we can wash on our own sometimes. Can anyone advise?

Dear sifus here. Want to ask if it is true that for copper pipe that is 30ft long, new unit. Daikin non inverter p series. Need to put gas first for it to function properly. Cause my ac man say too long already. Have to do it. No need for shorter.

Anyone knows whats the issue here? The water is leaking from the back. Normally condensed water will drip into the drip pan and flow through the drain pipe. I’ve checked the drain pipe is not clogged. But as you can see in the photo, water is flowing from the back cover. And you can see old traces of water and some of them are orange in color

copper pipe like this still can use? just cut it few feet and rejoin with connector or must change whole piping (about 13 meters)?

Thanks but i checked the drain pipe it’s not clogged. I poured i  1 liter of water it drained instantenously. It only drips water when the aircond is in operation

Thanks that make sense. I guess the cooling coil is clogged of dust and debris. For temporary solution, pouring water through the cooling coil, do you think it will work?

is there any diff between putting 2 x 1.5 hp  vs  2 hp + 1 hp ?

Just curious, will this works for the coil cleaning? Any experience for such products?
