Hi, in iAutoX mode.
iAUTO-X will automatically switch fan speed to high fan speed and super high fan speed depending on the temperature
difference between the room and the set temperature.
Low Speed --> Medium Speed --> High Fan Speed --> Super High Fan Speed.
iAUTO-X cools you down 35% faster compared to Panasonic Standard non-Inverter model with high fan.
After max 4 hours, the set temperature is shifted according to AUTO COMFORT activity detection.

But at some point, I feel there is no cold air coming out from the air-cond.
Feel warm. After some time, it will blow cold air again.

Sometimes I just turn ON the air-cond with cooling mode. Just that it takes longer time to cool the room.

Hi. Wanna ask Panasonic A/C owners.

I just purchased a CU-S13RKH-1 (1.5HP?) inverter aircond.

So i'm using cool+econavi+nanoe-x (which I think is the most optimal setting to save?) at 28c.

So here's the issue.

I can hear the engine unit (the outdoor unit) from roaring, then it slows down, but as it slows down, there's this 'belting like' sound. It goes something like a screech and bzzt, is that normal? Its like those cars when you misclutch (where the clutch can't grip properly, it goes 'eeeeeeek eeeeeeeek'), something like that.
Because I don't really feel like dismantling the unit just to grab a warranty.

I have the same air-cond in my bedroom.
The outdoor unit is placed back to back with the indoor unit (above a window).
I don't hear the noise from the outdoor unit. Very quiet.

You better get the air-cond man to check.

Finally got the installer to check, turns out probably my unit is a melon.

It works great, except when it slows down, there's this eeeek eeek sound which turns out to the the outdoor unit's internal components rumbling. Oddly, when the installer pressed on the outdoor unit cover, the squeeking noise went away. When he released his hand, the squeeking noise came back.
LOL.

So can't do anything about it :/

Why don't you make a report on that noise to Panasonic Service Center?
They will send their technician to rectify the problem for you.

took me a while to figure out what cause the condenser to produce such sound. i believe it was not the condenser, but the copper piping is the culprit causing the inner component to vibrate.

called my installer to check again the condenser, he put rubber shoe on all condenser legs but the vibration still there.

what i do? i adjusted the copper piping, you may need to do some trial and error. pull in and out a bit the pipe until the sound gone. you will enjoy the quietness of the AC if you could find the sweet spot.  biggrin.gif

Well done. rclxms.gif thumbup.gif thumbsup.gif
Those jokers never put in any effort to help us solve the simple problem.

mine clean 4 times already in past 8 months.. problem still there ..
*
How did you clean it?

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Apr 5 2016, 12:44 AM)
One of my AC units does the same thing - once every few months it'll start leaking. Go on a ladder, take off the front and lift up the unit then blow through the pipe (I know, a bit disgusting!) and it'll be fine again for a few months.
*
Yes, this is the way to clean it.
You have to clear the small hole that allows water to flow out.
I use a straw, poke into the hole and blow it hard. Then pour water onto the cooling fins or the drain at the bottom of the cooling fins to test whether the water can flow out smoothly.

So this is the design fault? Which mean even if I change a new indoor unit it may happen again....?
*
All air-conds also have the small outlet for water to discharge.
Unless they change to a bigger discharge outlet for the water.

It may happen if there are dust in the drain which eventually will build up and clog the outlet.
If you clean the filter regularly, then it might not happen or not happen so often.

It is not the outlet issue. Thing not right with the indoor unit itself. Another technician confirm this just now.

Where is it leaking from?

bottom of the blower itself.

The outlet got blocked so the water got no way to go, water rises in the drain until it flow out of the aircond.
If the outlet is not block, water will flow from the drain to the outlet.

Question on Panasonic Inverter iAutoX function.

Why is it that when I use this iAutoX mode, the aircond sometimes not cold and the blower not blowing air out?
I thought Inverter aircond will constantly blowing cold air at a set temperature?

use the iAutoX to cool down the room soonest possible since the blower is faster than the normal cooling mode. after the set temp is reached, it will slow down. If you want a constant blower speed and temp, don't use the iAutoX and Econavi

Thanks.
Now I use the cool mode at 26C with fan speed at 3.
