i am using my panasonic first gen inverters still after 11 yrs non-stop usage (24/7). the only thing that spoil on two units is the inside fan motor (got sound - can replace now good) and two units needed to replace the flap motor (can DIY with panasonic spares ard 70 bucks). I would say its worth it. So far (touch wood) no sign of the aircons expiring.

Need to replace a Aircon Fan Motor (Inside unit) for Panasaonic CS-PS9KKH.

Any tech able to do this during MCO and has a replacement motor (or I get one from Panasonic).

Location: SS1 Petaling Jaya.

PM if interested, ideally with a quote.

Hi can I know how much you get for Panasonic each 1.0HP CSXPU10 1.0HP?

Not sure if the one selling at Sen Heng is cheap?

Need some suggestions. My Kitchen Aircon is Panasonic XPU 1.5Hp (first generation). The plastic mounting for the inside coil is brittle and falling down after 3 yrs now. It also seems to have grown a leak (not the piping - tech already checked and refilled gas but now no power again).

Does it make any sense to replace compressor / inside unit and leave the other or should I just replace the unit and condsider it a lemon? Its back to back installation.

Normally lifespan for panasonic i calculate 10yrs + before i change. Never had any issues in the past.

Any recommendations for an AC that is suited for kitchen and that I can service myself (I clean unit and remove fan myself). This is very important to me.

I dont mind buying another XPU or any other unit, just wondering if its a general issue or just a lemon.

Thanks for input!

If you frequently cook in the kitchen, the heat and grease will damage any type of aircon, especially the plastic parts. If you wanna save cost, just change the indoor unit, a second-hand one would cost around 500-600 ringgit.

noted. The first gen Pana inverter unit I had lasted 12 years without any issues ever. so was very surprised that the replacement after 3 year has a leak somewhere. I will check with the technician if it makes sense to change the indoor unit.
