Whats the best bang buck for inverter aircond?
I need to get atleast 4 units 1HP and 2 units 1.5HP and 1 unit 2HP.

Dont need any fancy fancy features cause i dont believe in it..
Cold and electric-saving is my concern

Planning to buy an air-con 2.0hp for Master Room. I narrow down until 4 aircon models shown below;

1. Sharp J- Tech Inverter Plasmacluster Air Conditioner (MODEL AHXP18YMD)
2. Mitsubishi 2.0 HP Standard Inverter (MODEL MSY-JS18VF)
3. Sharp J- Tech Inverter Air Conditioner (MODEL AHX18VED)
4. Hitachi XJ Series Inverter (MODEL RAC-XJ18CKM)

Among all air-con models, which one is very quiet air con equipment -operation both in and out air, fast cooling?

Less maintenance, easy to handle and use and headache free long lasting and covers longer warranty period?

Noted. Upon checking the Daikin and Panasonic website got few models. Looking for 5 star rating, low quiet operation and long lasting (less maintenance). Any specific model Daikin and Panasonic recommend? Thanks.

Thanks... Now looking for best price for 1.5hp Panasonic x-deluxe... Has anyone bought from lazada Pana Corner before? With 3.3 lazada bonus and some others discount voucher, could get it below 2k with installation. Just worried about the warranty claim issue (touch wood)...

Cheapest Hisense units. I own 3 of it. Haier I’m not using myself but so far no complaints also.

Hisense is good. Cool fast, and cheap. Noisier compressor compared to Panasonic inverter.

I assume you are not taking the AC with you? Just get a non-inverter unless the difference is like RM50. Even if you ran it 9 hours a day, 1-2 years is too short a time to recoup the cost difference in energy savings.

When you turn on, the flap will remain open unless you switch on the swing feature (the flap will open and close when this feature is switched on).

It's part of the aircond feature of nanoeX..they doing some disinfection of the filter i guess. I just leave it there most of the time, not sure how effective is the feature though.

It can be turned off actually. You just need the respective service manual (not operating instructions) of the air con to do it. It involves using the small set button right at the bottom of the remote to do so.

Yes, compared to 20 years back Panasonic, now is really thin & light plastic.

Your inverter aircond outdoor unit requires 3 power (L/N/E) + 1 signal wires. Since you only had 3 wires to the outdoor unit, the installer take a shortcut and use the earth wire as the signal wire. It basically rely on the coil as the ground. If the coil had to be disconnected by technician, it may cause shock if there is shorting (usually only will happen when multiple things went wrong at same time). When this do happen, test pen will light up when touching the outdoor unit body & maybe some spark during disconnection of the coil. Maybe rare but do happen if you unlucky enough.

that's what happen when there is no proper legislation and enforcement in the industry, same goes to electricians. The consumers are partly to blame as well since most only go for the cheapest service

Actually there is..... but I bolded and underlined the part of your post that I have found to be pertinent. Plus we come back to the standard of enforcement in M'sia of "there is none".

Just yesterday I was with a friend, following him while he was servicing his car air cond with bawah-pokok bengkel run by foreigners. No need recovery pump, just release the gas into the atmosphere who cares.
