What is your understanding of the feature and what you expect the outcome ? Is is to replace manual technician servicing ?

I dont think the ac has any working gadget that auto clean other than the filter where user have to perform self cleaning to prolong the servicing interval.

When something is auto, it must have a gadget to make it work itself just like the auto car gearbox. Same with any auto light where it has a sensor.

The only 'auto clean' in the ac that I know is the draining away the dirt water.

If user wants to prolong service, is recommended to add another filter as the existing is not effective.

Many ac technicians dont strip indoor unit completely b4 washing ... every parts to be taken apart. After washing, he uses another whatever used cloth to wipe dry. Using air blower is a must to removed trapped water. If he dont perform those, moldy smell can build up quickly.

You can also buy a cheap air blower and pass it to him to use whenever he comes for service .... that is what i do.

I have not good experience with 1.5hp.

I have no good exp for Pana 1.5hp and so is another friend. Not sure why. 1hp and 2hp ok.

Within 1 year ... changed capacitor twice, coil leaking, compressor replaced.

3rd year .. compressor ko. RM850 to replace all in. Rejected. Ask insider help to change to 1hp compressor ... RM400. Now ok.


When dining and living are open concept ... buy a 2hp.

Now everything is ok. I will still buy pana again in the future.

Specifications can be difficult to say whether it can do what is stated.

A Kancil can sure sits 5 but will it gives a smoother ride compare to a Saga ?

If you say shop, I will guess is a normal shop size of average 2000 sf unless otherwise. A 2.5hp is definite not adequate to cool the shop esp with the frequent opening and closing of the main glass door

You can buy any brand but do not expect performance and quality to be on par with those reputable or proven ones since price is a deciding factor. Some are satisfied while others dont.

Like a forumer above advised, know what you are doing.... however, is always good to practise safe installation for safer home.

I doubt any manufacturer will give a new replacement unless is totally not functioning.

There is a reason for warranty ... manufacturer will do good any defects at its own cost.
