Hello everybody, is anyone out there working as IT ppl in non IT company? How is the feeling? Do ppl respect ur job? Can stand normal end user behavior? I am currently working as a system administrator. Getting bored with my job because my boss thought that every task given is easy. Ask me to complete a ldap linux samba service within a few days, groupware service in a few days....when i say it is not that easy he said nothing is hard because his bla bla bla working in IT field saying that all the job was easy job. I am a fresh grads but now getting bored in IT....is all IT job like that? Give ur feedback...thanks for sharing ur feeling....

But at least u got frens to ask in case there is any problem, for me....ONE LEG KICK...Wachaaaaaa....job scope from small pc or printer problem to huge IT system like web and mail servers in data centers....IDS, SNORT, VPN and so onnnnnn.......i am newbie and no one can ask....the only thing can help me is INTERNET.... Erm, now i know actually there are so many ppl have same "nasib" like me...anyway, guess i will leave when i finish learn all the necessary skill....thanks guys

That is very true....let them know....besides i think ur salary is too low, with ur capability i think u can get at least 2k outside, don be regret to leave QUOTE(say_it @ Nov 2 2006, 12:49 PM) Then wat r u waiting for ? Go some where who really know how to appreciate you. If you still wanna stay, there is a solution for you. On leave for at least 1 - 2 weeks . During your day off don't receive any call or access email. Just wanna show that how important you are, see who else going to support thier IT fac within this period.  |
