Different people have different weakness in temptations,

Well what to do? Just let the Singapore Govt handle it.

They are God appointed Govt anyway imo.

I think as Christian is not right to be judgmental with regards to be what happened in CHC.

I think the Bible is quite clear, with the same amount of judgement you use against others, it will be measure back to you. I believe this is in the context of judging another brother.

I mean you have been given the grace to be forgiven by God. Now we witch hunt CHC as if we've forgotten we were freely forgiven by God in the first place. I mean now you use what was given to you... forgiveness to hunt others down? Something is seriously wrong here.

I cringe when I see our Catholic brothers so condescending oh they are prosperity gospel, that's why they get what they deserve. I cringe even when a senior pastor I know says this.

In my heart I said, wow you think you're above them. Don't forget you were condemned to hell just as much as everyone else but now you act like you're all holy, better than they are.

Seriously..that is Self righteousness.

Let God be the judge of all, not us Christians. I don't think it's right to play God.

That is one of the biggest mistake our so to speak "Cousin's" religion (the one that starts with "I") committed and that's why they have so much problems until now. Let us not repeat that mistake and keep our focus on what Christ require of us..to be forgiving and to love our enemies. Easier said than done..I know. Which is precisely my point..we have bigger things to be concern about rather than focusing on other Church problem.

Atheist or anyone have no right to judge others.

We're all sinners. my point is Let God be the judge but some teachings (like the one yecck purposely put to instigate what I'm teaching) push God aside and they want to be the Judge, replacing God.
My Point being only God is the rightful judge not anyone, no Christians, Not the Catholics nor the Moslems.

We also forget, only God can change a person's heart. No one can.

So for anyone going out condemning or judging others is not going to help one bit.

Which is why I reject the doctrine of allowing Christians to condemn or judge others, I threat as heresy.

I don't know if you're catholic but I hope you don't mind if I share this with you. I mean I'm not forcing you to believe this, it's up to you really.

We believe Salvation is given unmerited through Faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The meaning of unmerited is Grace/Favour from God ...something you don't earn.
The reason why Christ came is because God knows, you can't save yourself through your own performance. This is demonstrated and proven when God gave the 10 commandments, the Law.
Nobody could fulfilled the law outwardly and inwardly. Even if one can perform it outwardly, they couldn't do it inwardly. And thus for more than 1500 years, the Law is a towering wall, nobody could fulfill. The Law is the very expression of God's standard to Man. You may ask why God gives us something He knows we can't fulfill. The purpose of the Law is to drive you to Christ.

According to the book of Galatians and Romans, the purpose of the Law is not meant to be use as justification for Salvation. It's only sole purpose is to show you that you have sin.
It is meant to drive you to the end of yourself to give up trying in your own self effort or self confidence.
You can read it in those chapter if you don't believe me.

With all that being said, in the last hours before your deathbed your salvation is not dependant on your confessions or prayers if you already believe in Christ prior to that. The Bible never says that. What is in the word of God is consistent. When you put your Faith in Christ, God accepts that and credit Righteousness to your account. Under the New Covenant it's call the righteousness of Faith not of the Law.

What about repentance if you ask. My answer is this. Repentance is a process, God knows it takes time and thus even if you die before being perfected, you are still saved.

If you want to find out more, I don't mind to continue but I know what will happen next so I'll stop here.
