Don't stay Stagnant

QUOTE
Mark 4:25 (NIV) - Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

I've always been intrigued by this passage in the Bible;

Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. What in the world does it mean? Whoever has will be given more and whoever does not, will be taken. Is it talking about Salvation? Is it talking about works of the kingdom?

I've prayed about it and even tried to link it to my everyday life.

Here is what God is saying.

Stay actively engaged in the things of God's Kingdom. Invest your time and life in it. Because by your engagement in your Christian life, Either you'll grow in "growth" spiritually or you'll grow cold and stagnant. Even Neutrality is spiritual death, a place of no growth.

It's true you know? When you don't engage yourself in the live of living the Kingdom Life, the tendency to forget about God, about your Salvation is very great. So great and powerful is the danger, Jesus says, Even what you have will be taken. The Seed is first sown by the preaching of God's word. What you do with it, will determine the truth of this passage.

If you do nothing about it, the one who takes it away is Satan, Not God. Read the Parable of the sower in the synoptic gospel to understand who does the taking away. It is consistently the same. Then you will understand what Jesus meant in the book of Luke when this same passage is repeated in chapter 19, the parables of the ten minas. God is always in the giving business being the position of the Blesser. Satan is always the one who does the stealing.

However with that being said, you don't have to worry about the growing. You cannot cause anything to grow. The only one who cause anything to grow is Jesus, the true vine, not you.
Your part is to constantly stay engaged. That's all. Stay in God's Love, stay in his presence. Don't go far. He loves you. When you stay connected, God will grow what is given to you.

Know that, Your Sins have been dealt with at the cross. Believe it and Confess it. Understand that God is not angry at you. He is the Father, always waiting for you even when you have the wrong ideas about Him, thinking He is displeased with you. He is still there waiting for you to come Home, to get back in touch, to get back connected.

Having in abundance here refers to the entire context of Salvation. It's your wholeness, your healing, your providence, your protection, the Power of God working on your behalf, The Anointing on your life, the fruits of the Holy Spirit, etc. It is not just eternal life. The words in the Bible are the seeds that causes all this to manifest in the physical realm that we live in. You know Jesus did say those who have ears let him hear? That is how it starts. The word of God.

In summary, To have more in abundance as in the passage above is to stay engage, to move on, to forget what is behind, even if you failed just moments ago. It doesn't take much to get Father God running to you. Just your simple faith. When you have, more will and more will be given until it becomes and abundance. Our God is an extremely good God.

Amen? God Bless.

I've heard stories/testimonies of Jesus visiting his believers in this century, people who've seen him in vision and in the spirit...there's this
peace and the sense to just want to be in his presence and when he leave, it makes you want to just...follow him.

He has that very alluring and attracting persona. You can just feel the peace and love in God's presence. That's the mark & sign of Christ Jesus.

I am running a tuition center and music school on first and second floor in klang. Recently one machi or kedai judi bercomputer open at the ground floor shoplot. I am worried that this will jeopardise my business and being danger to my students.

Spoke to irresponsible landlord but he say if you can go report police. What should I do ? Some more open infront of the roadside. The police station is just 5 minutes away from us ! Msia really got no hope ? Already give money to THEM and paid a monthly loyalty fees ?? How can such illegal activities happened near by a police station ? I need help any advice pls

i want to ask la

1) why god make this happen to me ?? i am sure without god's will the kedai judi wont even operate here
2) what to do ? keep praying and see my student leaving one by one ?
3) what should i do other than praying ??

Devil really want to shift you like wheat bro to make u give up. This is like the time in OT, 3 people against whole army.

After praying, can observe and try and talk to find out what kind of ppl. Just understand that They do this for money sake.
Of course there is potential problem, danger to student but here is where you can educate your students not to fall trap into gambling.

Honestly just be nice to the people downstairs and keep tight watch n monitor.

It's by word of mouth, by christians who are in hospitals, stuff like that.

A bit hard to describe in full because I think it was shared during small groups.

What I notice one thing consistent with accounts like this worldwide, When a person is given the grace to see Jesus, be it his back, or to physically feel his presence,
you'll notice serene peace and the feeling of not being afraid, there's this longing and warm heart feeling.

Ismael is not the promised son that God promised to Abraham.

Another reason why he was rejected from the covenant given to Abraham.

Thoughts for the day.

You guys know the economy is not doing that good world wide.

There's an end time prophecy that says one man will come in and unite the entire world and save the economy.

The moment that happens, you know the end time is very near.

The Key is in

Revelation 13:16-17

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.

This is where the idea of some sort of one-world currency comes in, some sort of satanic mark which will be required in order to buy and sell. This means anyone who refuses the mark will be unable to buy food, clothing or other necessities of life.

Well, to be honest I am actually not devoted. I normally join Gospel Meeting for fun you know.. as in friends invited so I went along. The pastor asked me about my age and also my friends and then he said we are lucky, because we will be still alive when the Jesus come or something.
*
As what I understand from the Bible, nobody can know the actual date of Jesus coming.

So to say we are lucky to meet Jesus would be predicting He will come this generation. That is already predicting, something God will not allow.

I don't want to comment on that.

As Christians we're suppose to just live everyday in expectation of Christ return, regardless of whatever prediction.

It's alright. Doesn't matter whether you're devoted or not, you ask we try to answer lor.

but then I understand that, i just wanna share with you and the rest what I have heard.

Thank you for telling me this, because so far in gospel meeting, I am actually not aware that God do not allow predicting. Perhaps, due to me not devoted enough. My mistake then >.<
*
It's okay lah we are all human, we make mistakes.

We also have a fellow member here predicting this to happen on 14-09-2015.

I tried to reason with him not to believe in whatever prediction...well. sweat.gif

Well, to be honest I will also be going there as well smile.gif I am a sinner too  sweat.gif

Yup many are excited.

Don't prejudge or condemn yourself to end up in hell.

Let God be the one who says who goes where and what happens. We can trust and put our Faith that God is faithful to his words promised to people who believe in him.

All I know is Scripture is very strong and supportive of whomever who calls and believe in the Name of Jesus will go to Heaven.

The Dying thief on the cross is that strong evidence. He couldn't do anything with his hands and feet tied to the cross, I mean he couldn't perform any good deed to redeem himself. He just believed that Jesus is the Messiah and Jesus said, Today you will be with me in paradise.

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Oct 7 2015, 09:43 PM)
Some don't believe it will happen though. So, I also don't know what to think.
UW I want to say thanks for the prayers. My bf also praying although he's not a Christian. I appreciate the sentiment.

But I feel really malu to report that there's not much improvement. More like, going the other direction.

Right now aduih I started my day with cirit birit. Feeling very, very ill.
I've been pretty much non stop sakit for 1 month+ de, because that's how long I've not attended church either.
*
Rapture is quite strongly supported in scripture.

1 Thessalonians 4:17

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Oh you're welcome. K

Take good care of yourself. Drink lots of water.

Here's a rule of thumb when it comes to making Christian friends.

If they are offended by the video below because they do not understand that the meaning of humour, avoid them:

*
As Christians, God endorse laughing and we should laugh and be happy more and more but we don't do humor if it really hurt other people.
That's the basic rule of the thumb as in the word as how God teaches.

Well, we must be prepared for His next coming.
*
One way not to slip or turn this into something to oblige for the sake of obliging (as in preparing) is to just pray everyday, talk to God everyday.
It keeps us focus that we are saved.

QUOTE
Hebrews 3:13 (NIV) -But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

As Christians, we all know the favourite verse for coming together in assembly, Hebrews 10:25: not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. It is an exhortation verse for Christians to meetup regularly, especially on Sunday.

And the reason for this is explained in Hebrews 3:13. So that we get encouraged every time we come to the House of God.

Out there in the world, you'll be encouraged by Sin's deceitfulness, telling that you're not worthy, that you're headed for hell, nobody loves you, you have to struggle and fend for yourself, worry about tomorrow, worry about safety, worry about your health, worry about this and worry about that. Jesus says that each day has enough trouble as it is, etc.

In the House of God, you'll be encouraged by God's Word, telling that you are RIGHTEOUS in CHRIST JESUS, BY your Faith, You are going to Heaven, You are constantly Love by God, God will meet all your needs, Don't worry about tomorrow, God will watch your incoming and outgoing, There is Healing Providence that's yours, Jesus says Don't let your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid, etc.

Where do you want to be? Out there in the world, where hope is fleeting or in the House of God where Hope is a confident expectation?

Dear Friends, these are days, being in God's house is so vital to get encouragement. God has designed it in such a way, that we need to fellowship and come together for discipleship, nourishment and growth. Being a rogue christian or lone christian is not the best that God has in mind for each of us. Because being a Christian loner (so to speak), especially in this world, is very hard. You're like a drop of water in a hot dessert that will dry up sooner or later.

The Bible mention 1 keyword in Hebrews 10:25 why we do not to forsake the assembly of ourselves......because the DAY is approaching.

And I'm seeing the Day is definitely approaching. These are the last days, dear friends. Sure, I've heard our first generation grandparents saying the same thing during the world wars. But the point is this; Jesus says we need to live each day as if it's last, He can come anytime.

That's it. So guys and girls. Let's keep meeting coming to Church whenever you can, let's meet up for fellowship whenever we can, Amen?

God Bless.

Erm don't mix up Christianity and the other religion that you meant. You won't get killed under the wing of Christianity, maybe more lecturing to change your mind.
