Wow same too here. Traded my sonata yf 2011 too. But I only get 55k. Like they say second value really suck big time. Hopefully can get the new ride by next week.

The low fuel indicator starts to flash too early in hybrid. i e at 1/4 level empty. At that level, u still can go for another 100km more. Well for me I go till 1-2 bars when the distance to empty showing ~50km left to ba safe

I need the sifus to run me through again on a few things

1) how to find the 'range' so we know how much left km to run on petrol
Menu-Information-Eco-Consumption.


2) if the camry's light is automatic level so which means our light beams are always set at a low level

Means it is optimized for the distance that is illuminated. Auto High beam only turns on above certain speed and when there is no light for road ahead.
You can turn on and off manually.

3) the hybrid battery itself does not seem to last long - are you guys feeling the same ?

Varies is condition, charge level, road gradient, electrical load like lights, a/c, radio, accessories.  6bars on the display can have different usage range as I discovered it can charge much longer to get to 7 bars.
So sometimes I get longer battery use in 6bars before dropping to 5bars. Temperatures play a role too. I have had occasion where it will drop 1bar when I get in the car in the afternoon or evening. Even over night.

Planning to buy the Camry Hybrid 2.5 this year.
Any main problem or issue encounter by this Hybrid beside the rattling sounds from Dashboard, Rear seat, door, etc... and the water leak into rear lamp?

How is the maintenance fees for this hybrid ? Any full schedule maintenance price is thankful and helpful for a reference here.

Wow that is great without rattling sound from dashboard. The door alignment is not correctable? Too bad.
What about other issues such as water leak into tail light?

the reason is 140kmh is very easily archivable on this car. slightly floor it and you already exceed 100kmh.

Managed to get the rattling sound sorted out....for now. According to the mechanic, the sound came from the 'bars' in the rear bonnet. He's made some adjustments to it....Let's see after a week's driving.

....In the mean time, other sounds are starting to creep up.

extend the car warranty for 2 more years for RM3k. Downside of this package is you cannot missed or exceed every service date or mileage that Toyota set. If missed or exceed the mileage, RM3k burn. Once signed, next service is subsidize up until RM500++.

The dashboard fix one sound another sound come. They adjust here and there and change bracket as well. From the side i am not sure whether it is door, plastic movement sound whenever brake, or go over bump, uneven road. From back i am not sure where the sound come from, but it come and go.

Hopefully mine will continue to run without rattling or noise issue. Nowadays new cars all quality quite bad. My mom w204fl straight roll out of showroom rear right door cannot close tightly without using more force to close it. Opening also requires more force. As for the other 3 doors it uses the same force to open and close. Mercedes replaced the entire door during 1st service.

Any1 having difficulty seeing the sides mirrors when raining? I tot it stated hydrophilic mirrors? Mine very blur when raining.
