Want to consult my friendly neighbourhood kopitiam 1st before viewing. Because I am the only rempit wannabe among my friends.
All my other friends look down on bikes..they want to be on the safe side.

QUOTE(mambangafro @ Jun 2 2015, 11:51 PM) As owner of FZ150 here are some tips: Wokay. I have some questions sir! *raise hand*-ensure all the parts are original,no modification..if got use big bore kit, jackrod,hi cam and shits better think carefully -mileage around 50k km is ideal lah -avoid if using HDEO -try to rev the engine hear got knocking or not -test ride, handle senget or not...if got senget means pernah accident -ask him what engine oil used, coolant -if got yellow light flash at indicator better think twice -check engine got leak or not -ask him how he service the engine, according to schedule or not -try to get bike in factory and standard setting..no mod mod -ask him pernah tukar blok tak?pernah jem tak? What is HDEO? Rev till any range must not have knocking sound? If I were to ask him what engine oil/coolant use, what brand should I avoid/be satisfied? I think he will sure say...service according to schedule, no jam. Some info: Mileage is 15k, no modification done. |

Wonder whether the OP acquired the bike or not. If he did mind sharing the experience.
After giving due consideration I got meself a used one too... 40k on the clock. 6.5k I paid for it if better than fair in my view. After K&N air filter change and better rubber its running superb now. I have clocked 12k km in just 14 weeks! |

Did not expect to get a response here. I suppose most that are more interested would go to a more dedicated forum. Seriously if you want a little more bite without spending much just plonk in a new air filter that make use of the K&N fabric. Not that there a huge improvement but there is something.

It is because I needed the basket too. It is a bit hassle to put your nasi bungkus inside a GIVI box. haha |

well if you are only doing short distances commute then an underbone is sufficient. But there is lot difference when you are doing longer distances. Its about the geometry of the chassis of the bike you use. FZ is kinder to your body. As for nasi lemak just carry it in your tummy laa..... ha ha
