have this funny problem. while riving even on flat road can hear a "thumb" sound somewhere under the car. hard to describe the sound, its like sting being release.

it happen when i am driving, sometimes when its stationary in traffic jam and also after i park my car. mechanic also scratch head.

With the primer, seems like forever.

went to a kia workshop, after consulting their expert in HQ, apparently the problem is with the Canister assembly. some filter to the oil.

unfortunatekly after 1 month of waiting the still say no stock.. kinda regret buying this car now.

anyone have any idea where i can source for OEM/ori kia parts?? really wanna settle this annoying issue

Hey guys, I have a 2014 Kia Cerato and the touchscreen on the head unit has been giving me problems for a while now. It doesn't register any touches but the controls on the steering wheel are responsive, so I'm pretty sure its just a touchscreen problem.

Its still a problem since I mostly use it with bluetooth and that requires accessing from the touchscreen.

Anyway my question is anyone here changed their head unit? Got any recommendations?

My main worry/issue is that a replacement wont be as responsive to things like switching to the parking camera or might take longer to start-up, or not work well with the steering wheel controls.

The warranty for the head unit is only 2 years or 40,000 km. There are many alternative head units in the market with android auto, and they are mostly below RM400, you just need to check in the Cerato car FB groups for the sellers.

Have u try to recalibrate the touchscreen?

I tried back when the problem wasn't too bad, didn't resolve it.

Before it used to work sometimes and not other times, now it seems like it never works. Touch doesn't register most of the time but sometimes random touches all over register somewhere else, example a touch on the left side will be registered on the right.

Chip based electronics has a certain lifespan, much like smart phones, it won't last forever, unfortunately. Time to change bro.

Yeah, I don't mind changing but don't want to end up with one with other kinds of issues

Third party ones quality can be hit or miss, that's why thought to ask here for suggestions.

Is anyone DIY the Touch n Go RFID self fitment on K3 (2015 and earlier)? I'm wondering to stick it to the head lamp or windscreen.

Dear Cerato owners, my Kia cerato 2015 have no more clicking sound when signalling and no parking sensor sound as well. Any idea what's wrong?
And there is some strange noise from the media player unit..like something is spinning but there's no disc in it.
