Maybank never increase your card limit automatically. You have to do it manually.
This is my experience from 9 years of using MBB CC

Later after you reply, then you will be charge a monthly hidden premium sms fee.
The sms gateway number is shared and not owned by Maybank alone.
Best to call Maybank hotline.

Reply by 30 June 2015: CLIP<space>YES<space>NRIC No. T&C apply." Citibank called me personally about limit upgrade. Talk kok sing song, when i was about to agree, she ask for mothers name etc. I told her i not comfortable with giving all these. U bank should have the information liao. Hanged up. One month later, citibank sent me a letter informing me that i am eligible for upgrade, just call customer support. Moral: dont confirm anything over the phone. If its urs, they will get it to you no matter what. This post has been edited by alpha33: Jun 2 2015, 05:04 PM

QUOTE(kons @ Jun 2 2015, 04:48 PM) Maybank never increase your card limit automatically. You have to do it manually. This is my experience from 9 years of using MBB CC nope, last time before the new BNM rulings, maybank will automatically increase your limit if you are a good paymaster/spend a lot using card/loyal to maybank whenever renewing card. my example was i started at rm5k in 2005, then increased to rm10k in 2008 (1st renewal) and later rm15k in 2011 (2nd renewal). i think the auto-increase in credit limit stopped around 2011/2012, when bnm required all banks to follow the new cc limit (base salary x 3 or something) and that those who earn less than rm24k/year are no longer eligible to get credit cards at all... those who earn less than rm36k/year can only have 1 card...
