I just pinged yahoo (am on streamyx here) and got 257, but there's still some pretty severe packet loss. *sigh*

I think the lag spikes is due to packet loss. I never had a problem playing CS but now I get insane loss and choke. Something is going on beyond just the international connectivity.

Seemed slightly better last night, just over an hour before maintainence. I still managed to go linkdead a couple times so I doubt anything has been truly fixed.

Malaysians might be having a problem because there is limited bandwidth to the states from our side. That's pure conjecture on my part but I believe that with the introduction of BG a lot more people are coming back to the game and thus are congesting our line.
Can't wait to get home and check it out. |
