Since after I came back from PLKN, my face starts breaking out pimples. Then after I have using several products, it doesn't really get rid of my pimples. icon_question.gif
I tried to go facial treatment, it costs me around RM 500+ and my face became even worse icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Now I try Natural Republic 92% aloe vera gel,it does help my skin condition..it moisturizes my skin
But still it can't really stop me from breaking outs yet the acne scars can't really go off cry.gif

I have no idea on my skin type. Sometimes, my skin is dry (my skin is peeling off before i used the aloe vera gel) and oily
The products that I am using are Hadalabo Blemish Control which doesn't really give any effect on my face and Natural republic Aloe Vera 92% gel. That's all. Because I dont want to make my face feel 'burden'
I am trying to control my diet, not to eat oily food and spicy food (as I google search that it will make scars red). I drink a lot of water. I try avoid the sun but I never use any sunscreen as I scare it'll worsen my acne. I sleep quite early as well before 12am.
But it doesn't really help my condition

Any products or remedies that you guys would recommend?

** I tried lemon and ice on my skin but it doesn't help **

You just came back from PLKN, which means you are still quite young. If it's hormonal acne, even if you try all sorts of remedies, sometimes there's just nothing you can do.

If it's really bad, you can try going to the dermatologist for consultation and they will most likely prescribe pills to be taken.

Different products also work for different people. You just have to go thru lots of trial and error to find what suits your skin best.

How to Get Rid of Acne Scars using turmeric face mask ..

Nutrients in Turmeric and Their Benefits for Skin :
Turmeric, or Haldi, and Its Amazing Skin Benefits

Also known as the golden spice of life, turmeric is an all-natural skincare ingredient that can be applied topically for glowing skin! Surprisingly, this excellent spice that we use for cooking curries can be used as a skin-brightening face mask. This Ayurvedic beauty face mask has been used for centuries in India, especially for brides to brighten their skin, leaving it radiant and glowing. Turmeric has extraordinary anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, antibacterial, and anti-aging properties, which make it an excellent face mask ingredient. This golden spice is very effective against acne since it contains strong antibacterial properties, and it can also reduce the visibility of acne scars.

Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon honey
Directions:
Use a gentle facial cleanser to remove all traces of makeup.
Gently wash your face with warm water to open up pores and allow the nutrients to sink in. Pat your face dry before using this mask.
Mix the above ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl.
Using clean fingertips, slather a thin amount of the turmeric face mask onto your face. Sit for five to 10 minutes or until the face mask dries up completely.
Rinse off with cool water and a mild facial cleanser or an all-natural homemade honey facial cleanser.

Well, I have personally experienced very serious acne condition as well as serious scarring a couple of years back. Now they are all gone.

Try my advice:

1. Identify your cause of acne outbreak (you understand yourself best, think about 'before' and 'after') I had been to dermatologists and I can tell you that their approach is mostly one-size-fit-all method.

2. Do not expose yourself to electronic screens as avoidably as possible.

3. If you attempt to treat scarring, you may try moisturizing mask or mandelic acid.

4. If you attempt to stop the outbreak of pimples, try intake of fruits and vegetables.

The above ways may not suit you. But, number 1 advice is my most sincere advice.

Gd luck! =D

You may have dry skin. Your body compensates your dry skin by producing more oil. That's why your face becomes oily.

Try to start a skin regime. Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise. Use products that are alcohol and fragrance free. However, don't load your face with products.

Control the acne before you battle the scars! However from experience.. the scars fade away by itself. It may take months. I've tried Hiru-Scar, it did help in fading some of my acne scars smile.gif

Some topical stuff you can invest in is T3 mycin which you will apply on your blemishes (day time) and you can get adapalene cream this one you use at night and you apply to your whole face. Normally after applying this cream your face will be quite moisturised so you don't need to apply anything after that. You can get these at your local pharmacy store smile.gif you won't get overnight effects. it may take up to 3 months for it to start really clearing up your acne.

Try not to exfoliate that much.
Acne scars are hyperpigmentation which means that your skin is in shock due to a popped pimple etc.
Hence more melanin is activated in that area, so you'll see that area is slightly darker (melanin makes your skin darker) (this is a way your body protects itself)
So maybe once a week would suffice, and if you have an angry pimple then don't exfoliate that area.

Yes I do believe exfoliation will lessen the scars but not too much!

You should experiment around with the scrubs biggrin.gif personally I use the Clinique 7 day scrub (I think this is the name) I don't like scrubs with one biji one biji beads inside. Feels too harsh on my skin.
