The original youtube is no longer workable but you can try the youtube for TV box. I tried the TV box youtube before. you can login and search the vid but it won't appear alot of video link.

anther alternative is to used the Kodi youtube addons.

If you want to cast whatever you play on youtube to your TV. why don't just used the youtube standard TV connection casting feature?

I don't used that feature because I have a AppleTV which works much better for these purposed.

If you used the cetusplay for this feature I believed it won't work well or a lot of lagging.

Android boxes have a notorious habit of downcutting your connection speed regardless of type - cable or wifi. Especially boxes loaded with apps that use background data. There's no real way to go about this one other that manually force stopping the apps until you get a good enough speed. Also worth to note that the network stack drivers in these boxes are so poorly coded, they won't ever be able to take full advantage of your connection speed. Whoever wrote them was going with data or power save in mind perhaps.

My advice is to get a newer box if you're gonna run kodi, especially if you're gonna be streaming h.265 and 4k content. This box ain't gonna cut it.
No need. The hypptv box already has the app built in. Look for DLNA in apps. It's the green colored icon one.
Is it the new RM129 one? If not part of any fixed promo like the old RM179 one where you must get unifitv to get the price, you can opt to remove it from your services. Either go TM point or login to unifi.my and remove package from there.

My bad. No need to open the app, it auto runs on boot. Ever notice the green colored icon on bottom left of your stb main screen? THat's the one. Enable and connect to wifi. Every time the box turns on from hot or cold start, there should be a message down there that says wired (and wireless - if got wifi) DMR running.

Once you see that message, just activate casting on your device and select the one that says DMR-XXXXXXX.

Ok, first thing is, the video neglected to mention he's using a sammy smart tv. - 32" J5500 5 series Flat Full HD Smart LED TV UE32J5500AKXXU
He just says "you need a relatively new tv" and that's just being an a$$. It has to be a smart tv, and even then, not all can do mirroring. Casting, yes. Mirroring, depends.

Second, DLNA has more more functions that people that don't use like remote casting from home san / media server, multicasting across chained devices either because it's too complex to do or people don't know about it.


Now, for your situation, if you're trying to use the stb as receiver, obviously your tv isn't a smart one. That means, as I said before, you need. No, MUST use a receiver app capable of mirroring. If not, go buy a smart tv and chuck the stb.
