I rooted my box and removed all the bloatware then unrooted it. Sadly the Astrx on the go app cant work since then. Researched about it and found out the app security very high, cannot run on rooted or previously rooted devices. Even with xposed tool to hide root status also cannot.

How to hard reset, the factory reset with maintenance code? AOTG is important for trouble-free live sports.

Nope it doesnt affect other apps. Been experimenting a lot on this box for more than a year. Finally stopped torturing the bugger and gave it as a Christmas gift to my brother. This box definitely helped me cut the cord and learn all about content streaming. There are limitations but is a very capable basic android box.

Woah, away from this thread for a month and surprised to find out TM nuked the white STB. From a business standpoint, I cant blame TM for taking the drastic approach. Glad I deleted the update url from several white STBs i helped set up for my family and friends. I know spending an extra RM150-200 for a new (non-TM) android box seems like a lot now but trust me, it will be extremely worth it in the long run especially for your sanity, lol. Lucky I had the chance to tinker and experiment so much about android boxes and streaming services from my EC6108V8.
