if you're worried about depression, you should at least know that it is mainly caused by lack of motivation in many aspect of your life.
The most important thing you need to be is do the best you can for everything that you do, seek more knowledge. I don't know about your extra curricular life, as you didn't mention but i'm just gonna assume that you don't have any just in case, do join marathons/sports, pick up a hobby, bit by bit take it to a level you've never been before. Bit by bit you will feel better about yourself, understand yourself more as you accomplish more for yourself. From what you've wrote, you're too busy worrying about what others see of you. If you have already invested so much more value in yourself, people would see you more than just the acne/scars on your face and when you feel you have more to offer to the people around you, you would no longer feel shy of looking at people in the face as you have more to radiate to them than just acne problems. Some day you could be someone's mentor, teaching them to give value to their life.
Having zits/acne is a part of life, our bodies is a reflection of our lifestyle e.g the way we handle our sleep/food/stress/hygiene and I can assure you, you are not alone.
You're still young and you've just started to "walk" into society. It will be hard, and it's meant to be hard. Give yourself time to learn and know yourself better, in no time you can run full speed ahead in your life.
