My 1.3, 4th gear touch 160 km/h is quite easy, that is the max, i don't play top speed with 5th gear, wasting time and asking for trouble.

This thread is like asking people to suicide, snap pictures at high speed.

Last time my car stock standard, on my way back home (midnight), speeding 150km/h all the way, I keep looking at the speedometer, so I know is 150km/h. Then from a far distance, I see lights coming from behind.
At that time, I still keeping at the same speed 150km/h. The car behind me coming closer and closer and overtake me. Do you know what car is that? It's a Kancil, FTW! The driver is a malay big size fella, when he overtook me, I saw his head like banging the roof, hahahhaha Kancil too small for him, but bloody fast Kancil. |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Mar 19 2007, 04:26 PM) only 'berani mati' people like mat rempit will do that.. So far EVO and Skyline top speed I've seen (in Malaysia) around 270km/h - 280km/h. 300km/h and above haven't. and I think there's no suitable roads to do that.. killer uneven road in malaysia.. ahaks.. -adios- This post has been edited by zeist: Mar 19 2007, 05:26 PM |

QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Sep 20 2007, 04:33 PM) well can get 350/400km on one tank .... depends Full tank how much? Actually, I like big cars like RAV4 and etc, very comfortable when driving a high vehicle. but 350 km most of the time ... not very good lah .. These kind of cars fuel consumption always higher, paying extra for comfort. |

QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Sep 20 2007, 04:47 PM) 58 litres the tank , but usually rm90 (till pump stop ) well, i have never put the petrol when when the warning light is on .. when the needle touches the last bar , go pump .. Then I believe full tank is around RM120 - RM130, for 350 - 400KM...reasons for poor fc = engine ,4 speed auto, 4wd sys I drove before a Van, Long Van (The longer type, damn facking hard to judge the butt when do parking The Van that I drove last time, fuel consumption around RM50 = 300KM, that was long time ago before the fuel price hike. I still drive the Van sometimes, slow steady cruising listen to musics, very comfortable. |

QUOTE(nd_4ever @ Sep 20 2007, 09:16 PM) Wah, so many speed demons here la! I'm shocked to c those photos which u guys dare to snap during that mad speed! Your Wira not VR4 meh? Guys, would it be considered if i sat in some other people's car (not mine) & reached over my above speed liimit? Does it counts also since i sat in the car & not driving it? Added on September 20, 2007, 9:29 pmTalked bout fuel consumptions, sigh..... tulan! My Camry SVX 10 2.2L (1997) running with the bulletproof 5S-FE gave me the best of 480 km max for a tank of RM 120 fuel. That's city-driving style where stop & go are normal but tried clocked 560 km for the same amount of fuel if highway-cruising. Meanwhile, my Wira that's running on hybrid 1.8L mivec with custom-ratio manual gearbox able to pump out 520 km for a tank of RM100 fuel. Err..... that's for city-driving la, if outstation cruising on highway..... the max i done is 630 km for the same amount of fuel. I'm running Haltech standalone mgmt for that Wira of mine. Ok ka the FC for my car? Dunno how to judge save or not as i usually fill up my cars' tank when the warning lamp lights up. |

QUOTE(nd_4ever @ Sep 23 2007, 12:54 AM) zeist, my Wira downgraded from VR4 to hybrid mivec 1.8L edi bcoz of 2 reasons. 1st is kena caught by JPJ bcoz didnt endorse & register the bloody engine b4 driving it on the road & 2nd one, eventually blown the damn engine after my right-leg-o-heavy syndrome getting worst. Waa, kena caught? JPJ block er? So what happen later? They tow your car back to JPJ? Therefore, no more choice but to downgrade to a smaller engine & wanna pump out the best from NA engines. Hehehehe...... Got that one ah? They reject? Any demerit points given? Mivec 1.8 powderful engine. |
