180..but for about 15 secs... cause there was a police pajero infront .... then again, i was coming back from sungai long @ about 3-4am then .lol

top speed was 170 on 2002 sentra 1.6.. no camera phone...

wierd top speed reading was on the NKVE ramp infront of angkasapuri on my limo saga.. clocked 435kmh while i was tailgating a wira which just coincidently swerved into my lane while i was speeding up the ramp. he clocked 85 and i clocked 435

i wonder y all curious of gen2 can touch 200km/h.... i dunno u all believe or not... i was chasing my fren's year 2003 model c200k... i didn't realise i was doing 180 on 4th gear at 6k rpm den quickly shift to fifth gear for 200 and above.. the merc is just 3 - 4 seconds infront of me.... i know all cars speedo got error but if my gen2 got the worst error den the merc is not really good at all???

p/s: all these was happened in a safe situation... 3 - 4 am on federal highway...

how long u chase the Merc to get near it?

if you say 3-4 sec @ 180km/h ahead from your car mean about 200meter woe

NERD theory:

180km/h = 180,000 meter per hour then divided 1 hour = 3600 sec

50meter per sec = 50m @ 1 sec

then multiple with 4 sec = 200 meter ~ ekekekekek

neh.... that merc was doing 2++ when i was still in 180..... coz i tot i was in fifth gear when i was 180.. but den... when i touch my gear knob i only realise i was on 4th gear and that time i got behind for 3 - 4 sec... we was not far like below 10 meter b4 we petal to the metal.... the thing here is just how long i can keep up... not chase

Wow, in other words, the manual Gen2 is definitely more powerful than the auto one... I always find it hard to catch up with cars like Merc, Beemer, or even a fast-moving Celica whenever they are also running fast...

exactly... the S4PH can easily touch 200km/h in stock condition. just wonder y is there so many question marks and disbelief eyes on this issue...

auto tranny and manual tranny got 40% power difference (read it somewhere).. so don be shocked that manual can go faster than an auto..

gen2 can reach 200kmh+/- but how long does it take to reach 200km/h is the matter..

True true... I think for a Gen2 to hit 200kph, it will take around 1/2 minute or more?

well, must understand the characteristic of the engine first. If you intend to play pickup then dun waste ur time and petrol. Gen2 ain't build for it...

Rather, accelerate slowly and when it reaches it sweet spot, thatz where it starts to roar... hehehe

but i got better breathing in my gen2.. so it better got top speed....

I guess that explains y the Gen2 is so weak in 0-100kph... This car has to be revved-up steadily and slowly until the engine is powerful enough to really run... Good points there, shackks!
