well, until Malaysians understand the different requirements of each specialization then it'll come down to which would be a more lucrative career.

too many employers today are seeking graphic designers with the requirements of a multimedia designer which is utterly dumb in my opinion.

so if you'd like to make a decision, think about what you like doing better or have more interest in striving for a higher level of quality in workmanship. smile.gif

cheers.

well it really depend..
for my exp tell me..
i did interview several company..
Certified/diploma/Degree is mean nothing..
all is up to ur Portfolio which mean those Art Work u design..
is the most important..
how good are ur Art work..will be how much is ur salary are..

but there was a limit.. of course..

For
Certificate Rm 1000-1300
Diploma RM 1200-1500
Degree Rm 1300-1800
( i am talking Fresh)

even u are a degree holder..
if u lag knowledge of using softward or designing skills..
that consider out..

sad to say but i have to say that malaysian doesnt really appreciate art skills which in overseas is highly recognized.that is why the salary is a bit low and i am also not sure about the career growth of this profession.

It depends on your interest. If you like collecting garbage, working for DBKL is good too.

graphic design...the pay is kinda low...if you're makan gaji...but i was informed when you work with companies learn how they do buisness and develop your artistic sense...and one day open up your own design firm...that's where the money is...
