that's the bank account number of a forumer named caerulln, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showuser=47148 and he's a reload cards seller..
other forumers that got conned by this con man also transferred their money to different reload cards sellers in lyn.. so in short, he's using ur paid money to buy reload cards..

No.
The conman got reloads transfered to him by getting people to bank in to the reloader (the fella who sells reload). In short, he got reloads for free by conning others to bank in place for him.

shouldn't give any chances to deal with those newbie in LYN... to all newbies, better don't start to sell stuff once you joined LYN... cis...

can we ask the reload card seller reveal the number which he'd reload to?


anyway, i guess in the future, we need 2 practise whenever a deal seal, mean both seller and buyer agree on the deal, but the money haven't transfer/cod, the buyer shall post something like "the deal is reserve to me, money transfer will b done soon" so minimize the risk of conman selling tot multiple victim.... with this, there's only 1 victim

You should direct that post to buyers instead
Ask buyers not to buy from newbies to reduce risk, not ask newbies not to sell (cause that surely wont work)

A simple post would confirm both the buyer and seller

deal thru PM is ok, but once the deal seal. the buyer should annouce to the public. thus this way, the buyer can
1) prevent his/her item will sold to other higher price offer as the seller agreed to the deal with you
2) you have valid evident when comes to dispute section, when seller ffk
3) minimize conman's trick. conman cannot sell 1 same item to multiple buyer.

of coz, when the seller and buyer both agree the deal, the buyer shall ask the seller, "since we'd agree on the term, i will post on your thread 'bout the item has been reserve to me"

Whatever, this is definitely the 1st time and it should be the last time dealing with this kinda conman...

the problem with selling phone reloads to anonymouse online buyers is that it'll be always open to ID hijack & theft.
maybe all those affected sellers are discussing this in mahkamah LYN?
it appears most dont care to defend/repair their reputation or business model after this incident

tried already.. its either blocked number or he purposely load up those phones he to trap
