Haha I wonder how long they will take to process before I get the card
*
1 week to approve, another 1 week to get the card deliver to you.

submit online la. the telesales agent is very helpful (for my application), throughly explain the T&Cs for Wise cashback, documents to be submitted, followup the approval.

one thing that's missing was there's no notification (my case) sent to me when i got approved. i only knew it after i call back to check status after 1 week submitting docs. doh.gif

Not true.

I left a message in HL Connect. Currently holding MACH card.
A few days later, their Telemarketing team call up and sent application form to me. And there after, called me up every working day to follow up on my application form until i submitted it.

Once submitted, the next day someone called to brief me on the terms and conditions just to make sure i am well aware of what I am signing up for (that I give 2 thumbs up for the clarity they highlighted) and subsequent work day, the quality dept called me up to verify the details.

NO branch visit at all.
*
my same exact experience! thumbup.gif

i'm literally "sold" with their telemarketing ppl follow-up on the application. i guess, they get commission for new app, so speedying up the app makes them meet quota faster biggrin.gif

Hi im looking on this wise card.. but not sure my spending condition entitled on this cash back or not.. please help me on the below scenario that which reflect my own monthly expenses.

I will choose Petrol & Utilities (which i spent most on these 2 categories)

1. Petrol (monthly 300 like that) so i may divide into 6 times..
2. Utilities (electricity my house bill always above RM200) Can i divide this RM200 into 4 times? How about Streamyx is group into utilities?

Am i entitled to 10x transaction in above scenario? if yes then i only can apply this card..
*
how about your mobile bills?

alright.. good.. any way to pay the utilities by online method?? i dont have Hong Leong bank account.. just do have maybank.com
i got 2 postpaid mobile account but lower than rm50.. one postpaid free call to family, one postpaid for normal data usage.. both total below rm50.. UOBpayonline website is uob bank? i dont have UOB or Hong Leong as well..
my mobile bill below rm50 for sure.. cause i do have 1 free call postpaid one..
*
dont use hlb to pay your utilities. use https://payonline.uob.com.my/ , pay your utilities using HLB Wise card.

for mobile, since lower than RM50, keep it as backup first, in case your monthly petrol/utilities couldnt reach 10x RM50 transactions. then overpay your mobile to addon to 10x RM50 transaction.

is this payonline.uob just a portal that for any visa/master user to do payment only? so once i got my HL wise card i just register an account and tie with my card number in this portal? so in this portal i could do the payment with the amount i wish to do right?? it isnt my understanding is correct?
*
yep! no service fee too! tongue.gif

use it to pay multiple RM50 for your utilities. remember to do repeat RM50 payment, each time, with TAC.

e.g.

if bill RM120... pay RM50, get TAC to confirm transaction, pay RM50, get TAC to confirm, pay RM20, get TAC to confirm. HLB recorded the 3 transactions as 2xRM50 + 1xRM20.

Do you get cashback when you pay Syabas and TNB using payonline? Lets assume you have chosen utility as your rebate category.
I am using pb vs to pay my tnb at this website, as it is categorized as online transactions, but not utility. i wonder if hong leong wise will categorized these transactions as utility?

all these for Maxis under Mobile

for digi reload, yes, under Mobile category. I reload from here >> https://store.digi.com.my/storefront/reload-details.ep

for umobile reload, not sure. can try their mobile app or selfcare?

FYI, for Mobile category, besides MCC, the telco name must be displayed on the transaction description. they "hardcoded" the names to maxis/umobile/digi/celcom/yes)

ah i'm playing around in uob now. can i stack 10 x RM50 digi payment transaction and then click confirm? or do i have to pay "separately"?
*
havent tried "stacking" multiple payments for same merchant. you can do that meh? biggrin.gif

to be safe, pay separately.

*update: just checked uobpayonline, can "stack" payment smile.gif but not sure treated as multiple transactions or lump as one. hmm.gif

HLB said covered for both "umobile" and "u mobile". belum tried "u-mobile" laugh.gif

*update: "u-mobile" covered too. From my old bill, using previous self care portal by U Mobile last time.

haha ok my mission to try then once i receive the card, will try with 2 stacks just in case. as long as it shows online as 2 separate transaction then should be fine right?

fuh this will simplify my scheme to make RM100 every month with this card.  rclxms.gif

haha still a darn good card, nonetheless. I'm happily paying the AF for year 2, of course if gotten a waiver would be a nice.
