I am sure there are some works on the MXL990 but I've not had any experience.
I mentioned the AT2020 because I've mixed stuff from one indie from Aussie which was tracked on the AT2020. It's not the best mic and there are better mics but for its price it was decent.
Songwriting, proper recording techniques, and just an overall good song package overall resulted in it being played on the radio with some fairly good response.

Learn proper recording techniques, keep a good clean signal chain and most importantly focus on the overall package of the production (which also means an awesome good song with the right talent) and yeah you can squeeze alot out of that cheap AT2020.

now compare from the price..

I calculated MXL990 incl shipping from Amazon gonna be around USD 100, definitely still cheaper than AT2020.
according to review, many ppl prefer MXL990

for Behringer C1 cheapest i can find is RM270 and B1 around RM 500

Among those you listed, AT2020 hands down.

I have a friend who uses an AT2020 via a Behringer mixer and it sounds great.

The AT2020 was one of two choices when I decided to buy myself a condenser mic for my home studio. I however decided to get the Rode NT1A package since it already came with a 6-meter XLR cable, shock mount and pop filter. All I had to buy extra was a mic stand.

The AT2020 though is quite a workhorse for home applications, great for its price of around 420RM.
