Hey guys. My camera seems to be unable to take closeup shots. I mean it can but it won't focus a [!AF] pops up beside the focusing bracket thing.

I'm a complete newbie. Please help!

check your lens minimum focus distance vs your object distance that you trying to focus.
probably the object you focus below the minimum of your lens.

How do I do that ya?

This photo is an example, somehow I can't post multiple photos for some reason. But anyway even when I moved my camera to the edge of the table I still couldn't focus the sanitizer.

Assuming your on the xc 16-50 kit lens. The minimum focusing distance is 15cm when on widest and 35cm when zoomed in. Considered very good already

It could focus the background sometimes and couldn't focus on the object in front sad.gif

Edit: this is at 15cm and sometimes even more.
