I got interview from UKM, but my friends said, UKM is BM oriented, even some of his friend study account using BM to teach.

If UKM is really BM oriented, will be really suffering for me =.="

Any clarification?

I got interview for Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat~

Absolutely right. UKM favors BM. I had to communicate with my broken BM when I went there. They didn't accept me in the end. That's why I went to UM.

Are you implying that UKM discriminately selects researchers with fluency in BM even though you demonstrated your proficiency in A.I? unsure.gif

Was there a reason you initially chose UKM as your first choice?

Few days ago, azarimy shared something about equal opportunity in public education, but we have to compete for it.

With broken BM, I don't think I am able to explain my proficiency in AI correctly also. Not really about public eduction equality I believe.

Initially I chosen UKM because of the location, and I personally visited UKM before and have researcher friends there. So I thought it will be a bit better because I might be able to get good supervisor for my research easier.

I believe BM proficiency is one of UKM's criteria. One of their task is to translate knowledge into BM and desiminate to public.

Other unis have their own niche area. UTM "discriminates" against not tech/science backgrounds because we are primarily engineering and technology university biggrin.gif

Thanks for all reply and the clarification smile.gif
Hmm, for the video I think I would speak in English because not specifically stated need to speak BM as well.

But I felt kinda frustrated as it is BM oriented >.<
Because in reality all the software, coding stuff its in English ~

This really keeping me from getting into UKM.

Hmm, kumiko_91 chan, I don't feel like its easy to get in UM either. And congratz since you chose your right college biggrin.gif

Note when i say "most couurses". Most of UTM's courses are engineering biased. Even its Biomedical course is abput biomedical engineering. So if u r applying into engineering heavy courses, then priority will be given to physics and add maths.

However UTM also have a number of business/management and social science courses. these do not emphasize on physics/addmaths.

I am a UKM graduate, and in Fakulti Teknologi Sains Maklumat, we use ENGLISH icon_idea.gif

Not all faculty use Bahasa Malaysia, certain faculty use English
