Hey... future potential gerbil owner here. I wanna ask a few questions.

1st, compared to non aggresive hams such as WW, how often do you get bitten by them?
2nd How often do you need to clean their habitat if lets say you put them in a 2ft tank?
3rd Obviously... their smell.... compared to hamsters? which has more smell? =S

any other useful info will be appreciated. Thank you.

O.o Really hamsters stink more? Then I'm gonna get a gerbil! Wahahah.. need to wait a while first... for my new hamster to settle down. Don't wanna bug my parents for too many new pets at one shot.

not that bad though hhahaha, if jo ready n can afort for more tanks, or sale or adopted out for GOOD HOME, then ok lah. just not worth n pity the animal if all goes mess.. n not fair for the animal...

its like, we make them out then make their life difficult.

'we make them out'??? LoL.. sounds damn funny.. Hmmm.. oh yar.. are gerbils solitary like hamsters? Or they live in groups wan?

Yeah yeah... You should find Ikano dude! LoL... the petshop there is quite nice. Although I think if I'm not mistaken, there was once they mishandled a dog there and it died because it wasn't given any proper treatment. Read it from the newspaper.

2 to 3 weeks old their eyes will open. They can live for 5 - 7 years and are SOLITARY animals. Yes, I plan to sell the males as they make better pets compared to the females. They will be handled and the taming process will begin the minute they are weaned. Which will be on the 23 Jan.
*
Question! What is weaned? Another question.. what kinda pet are those?? Never see before!
