X34 is Acer while PG348Q is Asus. Outlook/styling is different but internally, both use the same panel. As for X34P, it is supposed to use a new panel with a steeper curve. However, it's not expected to be launched soon.

From my understanding and feedback from research, both very similar except outlook, with Asus have much higher QC. X34A are revised version ( seems to have slightly higher QC ). X34P will have even higher QC with guaranteed 100Hz capability and swivel stand.

Planning to buy ultrawide monitor to replace my old 27' monitor.

Between acer z35 and benq xr3502 which one value for money.

Both are 1080p

but x34 cost rm1000 more than z35

Z35 with 1080P will be less 'sharp' due to lower dpi ( much lower than standard 24" 1080P ).
X34 doesnt suffer ghosting issue like Z35, and it's fast enough ( 100Hz ) for most gamer.

Helo, im new here. Need sifu advise on ultra wide gaming monitor by acer.

Im using gtx1070 sli with a 6700k proc. Which monitor will suit me? The z35 or x34? I mostly watch movies and gaming.

I used to have a 23" Dell monitor as secondary beside X34A, but ultimately turn off after few weeks because I dont even need that 2nd display now, 2 chrome side by side are perfectly fine on ultrawide 1440P 

Acer Predator X34A definitely worth getting in Malaysia. It is the same price as the Asus version over here, which is like RM6,000 plus.

I think RM6,000 would get me a very nice 4K TV for my living room setup. Will look around.

From my research before getting X34A, Asus one have much higher QC ( albeit same panel ), looks better ( personal taste but Asus have projected LED logo ) and 100Hz refresh rate ( Acer one mostly can achieve 100Hz but some reported only able to reach 95Hz    )

Yup bro, memang betul hahahaha! Before i use samsung 23" 1080p, syiokkk.. then took Dell27" 1440p, very syiokkk.. now, X34 3440x1440, very syiok gila weh! hahahaha.. start using 1440p, n fall in love already.. 4k? emmm, x suka lol.. but if ultrawide 4k, not sure yet
