Guys, need opinion.

Left PC arena years ago and now wanna rebuild my rig so kinda feel like utter noob now cry.gif

Thinking of Samsung 34˝ LS34E790CNS @ BENQ LCD 32˝ BL3201PT

Samsung
VA
Curved
UWQHD

BenQ
IPS
Flat
UHD
Vertical view

Mainly for movie, dota & cs
Secondary for playing with virtual machines

Need some opinions to finalize my decision rclxm9.gif

With the Samsung being 1440p while the BenQ 4k with VA and IPS panels respectively, both will offer different user experiences with the latter is targeted more towards professional usage. Critically, what GPU are you planning to invest in? Driving 4k resolution can be quite demanding.

1060 only. If 4K, only use to watch movie, yeah very few movies.. sweat.gif

Personally I'm leaning toward 34" ultrawide.

My current setup have one 34" main and a 23" secondary ( in vertical orientation ). I thought I could utilize 2nd monitor for browsing purpose ( as I always have 2 Chrome windows open, on old setup of 23" + 19" ) but I realize my 23" monitor are now basically electricity wasting machine  sweat.gif  as 2 Chrome windows side-by-side in 34" are perfect.

4K will have even more resolution, but 32" non-ultrawide will have different experience compare to 34" ultrawide.
Maybe depends on whether you're OK with that much resolution and really high dpi or not.
