QUOTE(alfiejr @ Jun 10 2020, 11:16 PM) How about LG 34GN850-B? apart form the vesa 400, i dont see a difference with the acer x34pSpecswise looks really nice, support gsync compatible and freesync, support hdr, 144Hz refresh rate can be oc to 160Hz, nano ips panel or whatever that is, 1900r curved, 1ms response time, 3440x1440p resolution.. This monitor seems to be so perfect Well it puts my x34p to shame |

QUOTE(kamal007 @ Jun 25 2020, 12:53 PM) Lenovo is coming up with their own 34" Ultrawide T34W-20. Curved, USB Type C Its a good price for a VA panel. but it seems like the current trend for everyone to go for IPS instead.Price wise is good at RM2500. Any thoughts on this? https://www.lenovo.com/my/en/accessories-an...jxoCwl4QAvD_BwE |

Hi guys, I'd like to ask your advice.
I'm looking to get an ultrawide curved monitor for normal and gaming uses. Most likely a 1440 or 1600. And another 4k monitor for video & photo editing. Will i face any issues when hooking it up to my computer? As in refresh rates and resolutions will be standardized by system for both monitors. Any recommendations for IPS monitors will be appreciated too. Just a side note, 144hz or 120hz for the curved gaming monitor will be the max i need. |

hi guys, im looking to buy a curved ultrawide monitor, specifically UWQHD with a 1440 p height, which means 34 inch and a minimum of 100 hz. My budget is around 1.5K and im looking within the brand new & used market. And so far i have come up with these options.
The usage would be mainly be media consumption with light gaming but the games would be some FPS titles COD & PubG, Diablo & Sims. it will mainly be hooked up to a laptop until got budget for desktop to add on to it. if it helps, it will be Intel processors. Would be great to have your opinion for which would be the best option. Those below are what i have come across so far in the price range. 1. Gigabyte - G34WQC - 144 hz, 1500 R, HDR 400, 350 nits, VA Panel, FreeSync 2. MSI - MAG342CQRV - 100 hz, 1500 R, Va Panel, 350nits, Adaptive Sync 3. Prism X340 Pro - 100 hz - 100 hz, 1500 R, Va Panel, 250 nits, Adaptive Sync 4. Prism X340 Pro - 165 hz - 165 hz, 1500 R, HDR 400, 400 nits, Va Panel, Adaptive Sync 5. Xiao mi - XMI-GMONITOR34 - 144 hz, 1500 R, Va Panel, 300 nit, FreeSync 6. Acer - X34A - 100 hz, (doesnt mention curvature), IPS Panel, 300 nit, G-sync 6. Acer - X34P - 120 hz, (doesnt mention curvature), IPS Panel, 300 nit, G-sync 7. Dell - S3422DWG - 144 hz, 1800 R, VA Panel, 400 nit, Free Sync 8. Samsung - Odyssey G5 - 165hz, 1000 R, VA Panel, 150 nit, Free Sync |
