Is 29" Curved Ultrawide a thing? how much I should expect? all i see is LG 29UC97C which is above 2.2k, kinda steep.

Is curve for ultrawide neccessary, LG 29UM68 pricing looks quite good. Hope to hear some opinions.

They are shipped from oversea.

I am eyeing LG29UM68, which the price difference between a flat and a curve is so big.

Is UW curve necessary? There is place I read, if I'm working with lines/symmetry all day, it will drives me nuts. These people also says the curve isn't noticeable

I have never experienced curve nor UW so idk. Is the big price gap able to justify the functionality and utility?

My usage:
- Casual World of Warcraft
- Web design and coding
- Photoshop
- Web browsing

I am very used to dual screen which my current setup is 24" 16:9 and a 17" 4:3 on my left.
While I game, I open browser on my 17" for reference (wowhead.com)
While I work, I open browser for code reference, kinda want to have a 3rd monitor for code comparison purpose.

Thanks for the link.

I've not experienced curved ultrawide as well, but i've read somewhere as long as you sit right at the center, everything is fine.

Dont know if the curved ones are worthy for the extra bucks compared to the normal ultrawide ones but in my opinion it's better to invest the extra bucks for a monitor with more resolutions, say 2560x1440 since you're doing coding and photoshop.

I have not considered 2560x1440 mainly due to I'm afraid that resolution will really hurting my fps. It also cost alot more even korean monitor will cost me 1.4k. Currently running WoW with around 60fps on my R9 280X, not gonna change gpu within 2 years.

Hahaha I was surprise how fast my eyes adjusted, given that 34" aim small. I only notice I'm using curved monitor when I stand up and look down from top  whistling.gif

It sounds like the "curve" isn't really significantly curved to be noticeable, even in 34"?
