hello did you puchase it? how is it?
I have both AW3821 and C9 connected to pc, so i can compare side by side. Its OLED no brainer if you have the space, everything is better or equal including feature where AW is supposed to be better such as 144hz (cant tell the diff to 120hz, where it is max at 10bit full) and Gsync module (C9 Gsync compatible feels as smooth).
OLED wins in picture quality (HDR, contrast, accuracy) and TV extra feature such as apps, eARC (HD sound passthrough if connected to home theater). you can also force it to run in 21:9 aspec ratio for most games. Most people will talk about burn risk on OLED, the risk is there but unilkely unless extreme condition, i have the first gen LG OLED which is now 6 years and yet to get any burn issue.
AW in general is an excellent desktop monitor, especially if you are using as desktop usage (browsing, mouse & keyboard games). Some downside
1. HDR is a mix bag. it can look great and super bright at times but struggle in dark scene where it can become too dark to the point of cant see anything, lots of lost detail. using mode 1 will help a bit.
2. the desktop color in SDR can look too saturated
3. side by side, AW will look washed out due to contrast
im sure you will be happy with either especially if you are upgrading from other PC monitor. i upgraded from Acer xr382cqk to AW3821DW and it is a satisfactory, but the price is probably too expensive when compared to a 55" OLED.
