Here's my quick review on the Crossover 3412UM.

My goal towards gaming is always graphics-centered and immersion that's why I bought the monitor.

The base is ripped out of the pages of Acer Predator haha! It still looks cool tho. Frames are brushed aluminum and sturdy. Don't expect too much on the fine details of it as there are edges that are uneven but it's no deal breaker. It may be just from the manufacturing. The monitor doesn't swivel however, it can still tilt until 90 degrees maybe? As for the colors, it may use the same panel AHIPS panel of LG. Coming from an LG monitor, the colors are very similar but you have to use and configure the settings according to your preference. One of the best things I like about the monitor is that you can OC it to 95hz with ease! No frame skipping and the frames are seamless when I did the test. Much better performance than my LG monitor. Another thing that I like is that it's cheap! I only paid RM 2,200 minus tax. If you're luck enough it'll be RM 2,400 in total  Awesome Deal!

Comparing it to my LG29UM68p monitor, am I happy, yes. am I satisfied, maybe. Am I impressed, No. The reason for those answers is that I thought jumping from a 2560x1080 will give you HUGE benefits in terms of visuals but it wasn't the case. If you have a keen eye on details, you may spot the difference but for fast paced shooters like Battlefield1 and Doom. It's not so much. The pixel density plays a big part I guess. To make it simple, 3440x1440 is the same as your 29 inch just a bit taller haha! if you have a 34 inch with a 1080p resolution, it looks crap to me. If you are using a 29 inch and you're satisfied with it, keep it and save the money. If you have the cash to spare, spend it wisely. If my budget is more flexible I would have taken the Acer XR34C2K but this is a great budget-friendly monitor if you want to save a few hundred bucks. Also get the Pixel Perfect version just so that you'll get a better quality. I think Crossover doesn't have a good QC and they just separate the good ones from the bad and sell with a higher price tag. Well that's better than getting something with defects right? Buy at your own risk So far so good

was browsing for 24" LG IPS monitor until i found this

found 1 below rm800. mainly use for youtube and dota 2

ultrawide not good for youtube, youtube mostly 16:9 content so will have 2 black bar on each side

but watch movie in 23.9:1 aspect ratio will fill up the whole screen and it look glorious

I usually watch YouTube with Firefox browser, and they got a plugin to crop the video.

Waiting for better version in future that run 100Hz and above. 75Hz no longer meet my main monitor minimum requirement now. Haha!

As an alternative, korean monitors are actually of good quality. Currently using a Crossover 3412UM(3440x1440, 95hz, IPS, Freesync) and it's working like a charm! Using it for 3 months now and no complaints for now.    Way cheaper than the branded ones.

Bought it from Ebay under the seller "dream-seller". Took it 4 days until I received the item. Although I paid rm800 in taxes so you might want to lower the declared price of the item. You can also ask the seller to lower it  It's really great quality and really freaking cheap! You can also lowball the seller lol I requested for a $50 off which he obliged.  but of course, buy at your own risk. Bought the perfect pixel version just to give me a better quality cause I read that there are a few who received their panels with dead pixels.

Yeah bro. 30% of the item. I was begging at the kastam agent.  but you can lower the price, say the price is $500, tell them you bought it $200 haha! At your own risk tho. I was just honest about it lol

i search lazanda LG 29UM59A ultrawide around rm800 , is this monitor best for gaming ? , or any better option other than this price range or even cheaper ?

You are using GTX 1080, if I have this card, I will go for 1440p 100hz as well.

Confirm no issue. 1080 is well handle 4K gaming. Ultrawide 1440p is only 2k+.

Nothing to worried at all. Even 1070 also no issue.

The thing about 29" 6 series is that the price is quite similar to the 34UC79G. Why not just add a few hundred ringgit more for the bigger one? (same 1080p though).

Nice, I'll only upgrade to a 3840x1600 with Gsync and 120hz... not sure if DP got enough bandwidth for that.

Got the Crossover 3412UM. My friend returned the X34a because it is still returnable under 30 days then bought the Dell Alienware with all the X34a features except it can be OCd to 120hz. it's only $950 during Black Friday sale.

X34A, 100Hz since day one    If they officially rated OC capable, should be no issue maintain that.

Once I almost thought got issue but end up it's the RM80 faulty display port cable I bought extra.

I think reason they dont put 100Hz are because there's no guaranteed 100Hz, when I do research that time, roughly 5% of owner in reddit cant reach 100Hz, just 95Hz or 75Hz.
That's why newer better QC'ed X34P are native 100Hz and 'possibly' OC to 120Hz 

2 months plus with X34A no issue, 100hz since the day i get it

and enjoying it everyday only problem is that it my eyes is tricking me telling me it feels small

Anyone here had the opportunity to use G-Sync capable card with G-Sync monitor and a non G-Sync 120Hz monitor?
Did you notice significant difference between in your viewing and/or gaming experience between those two?

Planning to get a new GPU with LG 34UC79G but I am on the fence with the GPU part. Either go with green team but not utilizing G-Sync or red team with FreeSync, which I think LG supports it.

Been a red team supporter but would like to try out green this time around.
