Hi guys, just joined the club. I'm using the xiaomi 34 for about a month now.

First thing I noticed compared to my previous 27 FHD VA, is Xiaomi's color shift when viewing at an angle is more noticeable. Prolly because my previous monitor is a quantum dot one.

On the plus side, going from 27 FHD to 34 UWQHD is very very big improvement in terms of sharpness and real estate (I use this monitor for both gaming and work)

Another thing that doesnt quite live up to my expectation is the motion handling. Moving a window while trying to read the text is not very clear. Maybe its ghosting or inverse ghosting, which is also noticable on text when im scrolling the window. Come to think of it, even my previous monitor have this difficulty.
You get what you pay for, and for RM1.5k including shipping its worth it for me.

Text appears not clear and hard to read is because of ghosting a.ka. bad GTG response time. This is the nature of VA panel. I am awaiting my Samsung G7 to release while ordered Xiaomi to replace my 1yr-- Viewsonic 32" 4K.

Was targeting the Samsung G9 due to HDR1000, however, due to space constrain have to give up on the idea and getting the G7 instead. Disadvantage is lower HDR performance. Xiaomi does not support HDR if not mistaken.

I used a shipping agent. Taobao seller delivered to shipper's warehouse, and shipper delivered to Malaysia.
I've read good things on the G7. Yes the Xiaomi does not have HDR.

Xiaomi mi surface 34" is serviceable though if HDR is not bothering you. I will replace it with G7 (or maybe G9 if i able to find a proper space for it) when they hit the market.

I am eyeing the Samsung Odyssey 3D 27". I can't seem to find any reviews on this unit, and I am a bit skeptical about how the 3D works.
