Hi all, I think Acer CB342CK 34" suits my need and budget very much, is there anything like this with curve?

must curve screen
must ultra widescreen
must WQHD.
good to have 27-34"
good to have 75hz or above
good to have IPS panel
good to have price below 2k.

I did some research, basically it is more a produtivity monitor compare to gaming monitor as slow response 4ms(for me I think it's alright), 100hz(for an uncle, I think this is good enough as my GPU can't push more than 100hz) and the color is not exactly good. However, there is a good thing like bunch of USB, speaker, KVM switch etc for produtivity.

For deep and detail, read this . https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/philips-346b1c/

However, the price in oversea usually is about RM2k+, not sure why cgionline selling 1.2k which is a steal.

ya i saw couple other reviews on reddit too, all give quite positive review, i dont do graphic design so it ok for me, 100hz still pretty decent for me to gaming too. plus the price..abit too good to be true for me.. biggrin.gif
*
Most review price is at 600 pound which is about RM3k. Even if due to taxation or others, maybe come to Malaysia is about RM2k, but now it's RM1.3k which is quite a steal. A good entry monitor for people to try out ultrawidescreen.

Let's say you use it for 3 years and wish to upgrade to G-sync, 144hz, IPS panel, I think you still can sell RM500 second hand.

from what i read asus dont make 3080 TUF anymore, only will make the strix versions which is more expensive

kinda surprised it's the cheapest 3080 and its from asus

checked lazada today got stock for zotac 3080
*
Opps, didnt know about that, not very into computer hardware. Then will go for other brand then.

I was shock at price, but seeing few reviews, I'm convinced. That 6 cores CPU can fight 8 or even 10 cores, due to massive improve on single core IPC.
IF you can find one  biggrin.gif  extinct for weeks, people keep searching but no stock can find anymore.

My Philips have reached, it's a Australian unit as the user manual are assie website and the plug are Aussie plug.

What I like
1)Cheap
2)100 Hz
3)brightness, just nice
4)color nice
5)the whole thing is solid and super duper heavy.
6)viewing angel ok
7)the panel everything is good and much better than my previous monitor
8)power sensor & light sensor

What I dislike
1)it's very weird if play black-dark game, the light behind me will have reflection back to me, it's super annoying. If play dark game, I have to switch off most light in my room.

I'm not a professional monitor reviewer, so take it as a grain of salt.

Power sensor is something I really like it, my PC located at center of living hall, so if I leave it for 60 seconds, it will shut it down my monitor. If I back to my seat, without doing anything, it will detect me and switch on by itself.

This can help a bit of electricity and most importantly privacy, sometimes I open lazada to buy certain stuff and my wife will nag me if she accidentally saw my shopping cart that I didn't close when I walk away.

Aussie version ? something like refurbish ? how about the warranty claim ? Onsite site ? Carry in ? shop warranty or can send to Philips services center ?
*
It's not refurbish, it is totally sparkling new. Maybe import from aussie due to some company close shop there? I have no idea.

I don't know the warranty either.

Nice review! The light sensor does sound convenient and cool!
The reflection is different from your previous monitor? Or is it a glossy vs matte screen issue?
*
I not sure matte Vs glossy issue. But my previous monitor have no such issue

I don’t own any Razer, can’t comment. I never like Razer brand as their design is not my preferable.

But I do have Corsair mouse and Corsair mouse build also feel much better but the size a bit bulk and not friendly to my hand.

For keyboard wise, this Logitech is very solid, I find it is much better than Corsair include the typing feel and smoothness.

Yeah, Razor have some soft rubber that feel very good to me, my razor dead after 3 years of usage. but I spent like 500 for this mouse so I really don't want to change it anymore dry.gif

Sorry for changing the topic, let's back to UWS monitor discussion instead of mouse laugh.gif

Your setup very nice, just I still dislike the bezel in middle, sorry it's personal preference biggrin.gif
