i feel my dell 34" UW is freaking heavy compare to my 30" ultra wide..

I believe the LG one is solid. I don't have that but I am using it "younger brother" LG 34GN850 which is very solid and VESA HDR400 certification. The 38GN950 should be even better as it came with higher VESA HDR600 certification.

LG is always my trusted brand display. Dell Alienware also shouldn't have any issue, Dell is also well trusted brand in Display.

LG is announcing 3 new monitor and all came with HDR600 but no 38.

The left one 32 is 1st OLED monitor but 4K. Haizz...

I am thinking of upgrading my Alienware AW3418DW.

Since he/she using corporate account, I think he/she will manage to get it.

Dell corporate account is different than normal consumer account. Different person in-charge and they have more authority to do changes and get rare items in market.

Basically you can get everything you want and much cheaper if you got Dell corporate account.

My company also got Dell Corporate account but we have another policies, we cannot use company account to purchase for own use.
We will have big difficulty on Finance part to get approval, basically is no way to get approval. Enterprise company always have more restriction and control.

No money already, I already spend RM 7,144.00 for both monitor in Nov ~ Dec 2020. Haha!

Even got money, my priority still LG.

I don't see the need for spending extra for Dell Alienware monitor.
Dell Alienware may had extra hz like more OC and etc. but those did not justified the extra paid for me.
Some more those OC = color reduce. So even my LG 34GN850 also can OC to 160hz but I don't use it either.

Also the back & monitor leg is mix with white for all Dell Alienware series monitor where not suite my PC setup.

Got to wait till Feb, all OOS now. I pre ordered, will replace Acer 382CQK. Will place on sale if anyone is interested.

just wanna share recently got my hands on LG 29WK600 , thanks to my brother who was upgrading his monitor so i got this ultrawide which really feels awesome.

the monitor arm that arrived yesterday elevate it to a whole new perspective... loving it !

i got it from this lazada page, some OEM product... i realize that it is actually a dual monitor arm, just that they give you a tray for the laptop. so technically any metal plate with the vesa holes can be a laptop tray for any dual monitor mount.

the laptop tray have some bad finishing marks but its okay since a laptop will cover it. the tray also quite big. can fit a 17 inch. the only part i didn't like is where there is the tilt to left/right which the tension cannot be adjusted. not so bad on the monitor side but the laptop side sometimes could tilt a bit too much. unlike other joints, the tension could not be adjusted.
