Compared with 34UC79G, what is the different yeah bro? found that u using this model on your signature..
*
The model you asking comes with gsync instead of freesync

For the price I see at Amazon is not very attractive for a 1080p model

I look for G-Sync monitor around RM 2.6K.. do you have any model to suggest?
*
the closest you can buy is acer Z35 which cost 3.7K, there are none ultrawide with gsync for around 2.6K

you are probably better go for 16:9 monitors, gsync + ultrawide = super expensive

any comments on LG 29UM59A-P?

was browsing for 24" LG IPS monitor until i found this

found 1 below rm800. mainly use for youtube and dota 2
*
ultrawide not good for youtube, youtube mostly 16:9 content so will have 2 black bar on each side

but watch movie in 23.9:1 aspect ratio will fill up the whole screen and it look glorious

but...

there are some discussion in some forums; "an issue watching 1080p movie in 1440p monitor in full screen"

due to 1080p to 1440p is 1.4x scale... not a direct 1 to 1. its like watching 720p video in 1080p monitor.

some said; "1440p will shows some blurring, but not a significant amount"

its up to u guys to decide thou.....  btw nowadays, any movie i will just project to 4k tv... with sound system attached... much better.  laugh.gif
*
most movie now in anamorphic format which is 2.39:1 aspect ratio so movie will fill whole ultrawide monitor, no black borders more syiok to watch tongue.gif innocent.gif

3070 stock seems alright, of coz not all brand/model.
I'm aiming it, on top of upgrading to zen 3 system.
*
unless simply wanna grab any brand any card can surely get 3070 but 3080 seems any unit gone in few minutes sweat.gif

i upgraded to r5 3600 this year too, affordable during the time i buy compare to now 5600x also cost 1.3k just for cpu alone
