the asus pg35vq spec are very the same with acer x35 as well.

anyone that using acer predator x34p.

may i know that what is your overdrive setting.
set to normal or extreme or off ??

coz i see some notiable color changing while set overdrive to normal
and see more notiable color changing while set overdrive to extreme.

it is my way coz i just upgrade to ultrawide monitor with high refresh rate.
my old monitor is 23 inch tn panel with 60hz only.

i had try their setting and that why i found the noticeable changing at overdrive normal and extreme.
maybe i had used to see my old monitor without this feature and if i enable the overdrive setting and playing game, it make me feel like a little bit of pening after half n hour, then i off the overdrive setting to off and continue playing my game for another 1 hour i din feel any pening while playing game.

so should i enable the overdrive setting or should i disable it??

if u want to upgrade to ultrawide, the resolution u should select 3440 * 1440, coz the dpi is same level as 27 inch 1440p monitor.
if u select ultrawide with 2560 * 1080 the dpi level is lower then your 24inch fhd monitor.

so that u may compare using the info i provide to u, and select which one is more suitable for you and meet your budget

overdrive normal and off are different setting

by default windows ad able to split screen for u.
but if u need more accuracy on split screen, u might need help of the particular monitor software which i know is LG have this software on the monitor.
acer din have, asus i not sure, dell have

i think 16:9 32" 4k monitor is the best size in my opineon..

depends on what your game you play, how much FPS do u prefer to get also.
