Just curious, have you tried experimenting controls on the camera like shutter and aperture? Part reason why i prefer camera over phones because depending on settings and situation it can produce much nicer photo than iphone auto shot. But admitedly phones jpeg nowadays can be vastly superior than camera in some situation. If your answer is no and you mainly use auto settings on epl2, then iphone is better.
Also, did you try other lens like primes which can produce sharper images?

QUOTE(sendo7 @ May 21 2015, 10:12 AM) Actually I mostly use P mode on Olympus and hardly use on other settings, unless is portrait with night view background then I would say the double flash is it? Mostly these two modes. No, I only have the 14-42mm lens with my Olympus, plus my EPL2 zooming has problem, when I zoomed to 25mm above then the screen will goes black and says LENS ERROR bla bla, which I think its a common issue for Olympus user, this is sad coz need money to repair. What I know now is iPhone can take nicer video than EPL2 , this is absolutely true P mode is almost close to auto mode which auto adjust aperture and shutter. Night scene is already auto, which tend to select flash or longer shutter speed. Im also assuming, you dont bother much with tweaking raw file. The iphone is right choice for you. At most i can say is that you wont get those impressive creative shots like creamy bokeh or freeze action scene from iphone. But if you primary just shoot scenes without hassle, it is more than enough.
