QUOTE(Sedih @ Oct 15 2015, 08:22 PM)
Hi guys,

My nexus 4 broke down. Served me more than 1 year. I need a good phone that can serve me long long time. So I definitely want a flagship phone for my next phone. I'm mulling between iPhone 6 and Xperia Z5 but maybe u guys got better suggestions or can help me choose between these two smile.gif

Ipong 6s is a nono since very expensive tongue.gif

I'm a normal user. Just using phone for camera,  music, browsing,  youtube, chat, etc. No game at all. Data on 24/7. I just need a phone that's good out of the box and no lag lag. Thanks tongue.gif
*
You no state budget how to recommend you? If you want iPhone 6S, only the iPhone 6S 64GB and iPhone 6S Plus 64GB are usable. The 16GB are barely usable..

Android, I would recommend you Nexus 6P or LG G4.

QUOTE(kevin88 @ Oct 15 2015, 11:01 PM)
Hi guys,

I did some research and come up with 3 choices at the moment. Oppo r7,  Huawei honor 7  and Motorola X play. Any recommendation about these three?  Thank you.

Honor 7 or X Play.

Put there edi no 6s becus 16gb oredi 3k :swt: maybe 2.7k max.
Now I'm looking at ip6 64gb and xperia z5. I dunno abt samsung s6 or s6 edge. I want to try LG G4 but should I wait G5? Nexus hmmm i dunno abt that sked battery noob like n4 & n5 tongue.gif
*
Your N4 already broken down.. I don't think you can wait any longer... iPhone 6 battery life are not any better than Nexus 5. Unless is the iPhone 6 Plus model... Nexus 6 and above battery life already very good to archieve 5-6 hours SOT with mixed usage.. So Nexus 6P could do even better with Android M Doze Mode... Xperia Z5 are advertised with 2 days battery life, so no worry.. LG G4 got swapable battery...

budget rm1500, any phone can be replace my opo with better camera rear and front and also good display lcd..plus if have custom rom atleast can root.
*
OPO already last year 2014 top flagships killer. RM1500 don't think have any better top spec at that budget to kill the OPO. Unless the latest Nexus 6P.

Iphone 6 batt life not better than Nexus 5? Seriously?

If batt life is top of my priority i will buy an iphone, anytime.
*
Is a Nexus, we can downclocked the Core and archive whatever we wish for... Unless we are talking about a people buy a Nexus that don't root or flash ROM or tweak the phone...

Battery Life is your top priority then depend which perspective you looking at.. in terms of idle mode, iOS hands down, I owned iPad, I know how incredible the battery life on idle mode endurance.... But if I want a better battery life on iPhone, I would pick the Plus 5.5inch model instead of 4.7inch model.. but for the price we paying, it will be another level..

Not to forget, Android devices have plenty option like swap-able battery like LG G4, or QuickCharge like VOOC / QuickCharge 2.0, or even UltraBatterySaving mode on Samsung Flagships..

Filter down to the following:

1. OnePlus Two
2. XiaoMi Note
3. Asus Zenfone 2

So which one? rclxub.gif
*
Use Lazada Firevoucher RM200 and buy the OPT at Lazada without invite and cheaper around RM15XX

Zenfone 2 is a no go if you got higher budget and alternative option... is a Intel x86 SoC, is powerful but forget about aftermarket support. So if you got lower budget then get MiNote at RM12XX at Lazada after Voucher...

Thank for your input~  notworthy.gif
But i found out that 2GB variant seems like out of stock~
I have searched Asus online store & directd and only 4GB variant is available~
Thanks for your valuable input~  notworthy.gif

May I know that in terms of processor, Honor 6 performs better ? compare with Mi 4i / Redmi Note 2 as Honor 6 is using it's in-house processor~
The main advantage i see in Honor 7 is the 3GB ram, which is attracting~
*
Just pick the Honor 7 and you won't regret later, after RM200 voucher discount at Lazada, is only RM1199.

Good day.

My mom is looking for a replacement phone and she's interested in getting an Android handset. We're looking for the best bang-for-your-buck on an RM1500 budget.
*
Personal recommend Huawei Honor 7. Best bang for bucks. RM1399.
Exclusive 12months warranty, first 6months come with 1 to 1 exchange policy, 1 time free LCD broken replacement.

Other worth looking which also around the budget range:
Xiaomi Mi Note, Xiaomi Mi4C, Huawei Honor 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy A8, HTC M8 EYE.

Hello sifus,

It has been a while since I last shop for phone as my Note 2 is still going strong. So, I am looking to buy OP2 next. I know it is not as flagship killer as OP1, but I like the overall package. I haven't really look at other brands because there are so many out there :dizzy:

Maybe the sifus can help me to recommend alternatives to OP2:

1) Price range below RM1800 (RRP of OT2 ~RM1800 and below)
2) Has similar specs
3) That, if possible, has no resemblance to Ipong.
4) No need for NFC.
5) Not looking for gaming phone. Just solid with fast update to the software/ROM.

By the way, where is OP2 thread? I was going to ask whether you need to sign up to Maxis to buy one there now.
