I need some phone recommendations based on these criterias:

1. Brand: Any
2. Budget: Around rm500
3. Specs: Good battery and camera
4. Type/Size: 5" and above

Thanks in advance smile.gif

Padfone S (market price now around 500-600), nothing else come close to what it offers in the price range.

Snapdragon 801 and 2GB RAM
5" FHD with gorilla glass 3, touchscreen is responsive (cause I tried many budget phones, they don't only have subpar displays but also less responsive touchscreens)
Tablet docking and wireless charge abilities (require extra accessories)
13MP camera (nothing stellar though)
Ship with 2A charger
Planned official upgrade to Marshmallow (though you need to treat it as a bonus that may take really long time, if not forever to realise)

The only 3 downfalls of it is a little bulky in size (but hey, many other budget phones have worse thickness and screen to body ratio), relatively small non-removable battery (if you had adapted to the power bank lifestyle then shouldn't be a major issue to you) and ultimately, close to impossible to find accessories (casing/screen protector and so on).

Guys, just wondering:

Huawei Honor 7, One plus Two, or HTC One M9+

Which one got better cam performance? And which one you guys recommend? Each got their own strength in price, performance and design. Hmmm...

I don't know bout the pricing for them but I tend to avoid 1+2 and HTC M9+.

For 1+2, SD810 is famous for its overheating and throttling issues. I will avoid a unremovable battery phone with it. Also, the recent jab from google bout it's wrong USB type standards also put some bad marks on me.

For HTC, it is using mediatek chip. The helio is popular thanks to Sony and Xiaomi but they aren't exactly on a flagship phone. Also being hearing that the graphic performance isn't exactly flagship worthy. The battery is kind of small too.

Now, we only left with Honor 7. I don't really heard/study much bout it before, so I can't comment much. Here's a review and perhaps you should read and see if any of them bothering you.

Honor 7 also come with irremovable battery right? Yeah, I think skip M9+ due to the battery. I'm interested with Honor 7 but comparison for the camera vs 1+2 really disturb my decision. Haha... And then, seems like Huawei G8 is the better camera for Honor 7, but slower in CPU and GPU.

is it that bad?

i use one as co line as it come with the tablet thingy, can last me a day easily with constant call, whatsapp and email (sales)

For example now it's running for 14+ hours with 2 hours SOT, left 42% battery.

Very seldom it is been run down to 0% in the day itself.

One thing i really hate on this phone is the speaker, i sometimes need to use it while im driving to answer calls and it is a pain in the ass. the quality suck so much that i had to stop and use my ears doh.gif
