Really inclined to get rex courier from the market now. I'm not sure if the price is going to drop after TI, but its probably cheaper than putting my money by chance in collector's cache. Plus I don't see any more benefit in getting my compedium levelled up anymore. While the challenge coin in a nice thing, 90% of the sets redeemed are like really lame ones. I get nicer hats from Rubine treasure via prediction charm.

To get your starting MMR ranking, you need to play 10 ranked match right? But does the MMR rank you get SOLELY depend on those 10 matches? I heard from my friend that even public matches are taken into account?

Your unranked games up to level 13 contribute to your baseline rating. The 10 calibration matches only "tweak" the value slightly.

I think it's based on your unranked MMR. Like you said, the 10 games tweak and finalise the actual number. My unranked was roughly 3.6-3.8k(based on dotabuffs 'Very High Skill' cap), calibrated at 3715.
