I have some problem with my dota. currently using unifi 30mbps. Came back to dota after a break.
I'm kinda lagging and spiking quite badly. Anyone else facing this problem or had this problem before? Any tips on how to fix this?

Not my comp problem as I managed to play it last time with no problem. I have tune down the graphics to the lowest.

hmm, i managed to download dota at 1.3mb/s. when i wanted to look for game, sea server has 200ms while the recommended server is japan at 120ms.

not sure.. Cause that was my friend's place. Now at my place, its like that again..previously my place dont have this problem..

Why not singapore? Singapore is also another good candidate to host a major, NYC received many praises iinm. Maybe pinoy land with dota's popularity there makes it a better choice to host a major.

I don't mind the surge in pinoy players as long as they are well mannered, non-toxic and dont do stupid things.

More players in the server = more balanced match making skillwise IMO.

Hence, why I say I don't mind surge of pinoy players IF they are non-toxic. Heck, even non pinoy players can be toxic as f.. I myself included, when I'm frustrated, I can also be somewhat toxic. Need to learn to keep my temper. I found that muting really helps alot.

Overall, the community have to grow mature and the game will transcend to another level awesomeness.

True that ticket-wise, pinoyland might sell the tickets better and the stadium/hotel rental might be cheaper, compared to the previous NYC hosted in Singapore (NanYang Championship), which earned alot of good praises among the players. They get to stay at marina bay sands hotel.

hand itchy wanted to play dota after 2 weeks didnt play. Heard of the packet lost issue but didnt know its that bad. Literally unplayable.

Had to use data tethering from phone to play.

anyone facing lag problem? Ytd and today was terrible, totally unplayable. It's like slide show.
