People had told me that once you get a PhD, live is easy because people will want to get you to be on their Board of Directors and you don't have to do anything but let the money roll in. That is what my teacher is doing now... he had stop teaching and now playing golf. Haha.
What will you get of this good job other than the satisfaction and high pay? Will there be a chance for you to climb higher into the ranks of society, or will you be stuck in that job forever?
5 digit salary, any teenagers dream, overseas... the only occupation I can think of is game tester, haha.
I got a friend who was a computer game tester with EA in the US, believe you me, after what I heard from them, you wouldn't want to get into that line. The pay is quite bad, you play games for like 14 hours a day and it is not even playing. What you basically do is to repeat the same thing over and over again to find bugs within the game. Imagine crashing your car on all the maps in NFS or playing James Bond and going through a door at least 400 hundred times to make sure that there isn't any bugs. What will you get of this good job other than the satisfaction and high pay? Will there be a chance for you to climb higher into the ranks of society, or will you be stuck in that job forever?
