People had told me that once you get a PhD, live is easy because people will want to get you to be on their Board of Directors and you don't have to do anything but let the money roll in. That is what my teacher is doing now... he had stop teaching and now playing golf. Haha.

What will you get of this good job other than the satisfaction and high pay? Will there be a chance for you to climb higher into the ranks of society, or will you be stuck in that job forever?

5 digit salary, any teenagers dream, overseas... the only occupation I can think of is game tester, haha.

PhD gives you a Dr. title yes. But in universities, you need to have at least a PhD to earn proffesor-ship and in my field, you have to be doing alot alot of research to win (if possible) a Nobel Prize. So a PhD is where you start. You have to start somewhere, so go for the PhD and work your way up. And if you are good AND lucky, you may get that super super long title.

@Mavik: Gametester that horrible? Ok... suddenly don feel so good anymore. Cos my friend gametester in Japan for 2 years and he said very fun wor... but now he quit dee and doing computer graphic something... so I always thought gametester very cool.
