Mine is the C5 Exclusive and got hydractive suspension.
Some versions of the C5 in UK comes with normal suspension.

Anyone has experience new c5?. Seem its price is affordable for a 190k price tag. Better than 200k recond velfire maybe? It is really big different of hydractive suspension than our normal torsion beam?really comfortable huh?

I bought my C5 from the previous dealership when it was about to transfer dealership to Naza.
I got a 40k discount.
The price I paid is less than a 508 premium.
I almost bought the Ford Mondeo but decided on the Citroen C5 as the offer was good to miss. laugh.gif

Recond hydraulic pump (green ball) cost RM600, new cost RM1k+ each
If not mistaken, Xantia is using 5 balls.
Gearbox overhaul cost about 2-3k (if i remember correctly)... Brand new replacement at least 20k

Other than these, engine & others all ok.

Comfort wise, 100% sure more confortable than C5, it feel like magic carpet when going over speed bump.
U only hear the sound 'dup' 'dup' without any movement inside the car

Of course sourcing yourself is cheaper coz mechanic/ kedai potong kereta also need cari makan...

Not to forget, Xantia got a lever to adjust the height of the car.
