ok guys , i'm currently taking diploma in IT , and i had finish my foundation last year , and just finish sitting for my year 1 first semester examination too , but now i feel that i don't have interest in IT programming stuff , and i doubt i can pass through this semester too.

so , i'm thinking of changing course or either go out there and work, but i don't know what course to change and i don't like study , really hate to STUDY , i want something that is more practical instead of just studying from books and do programming codes.

well , i'm thinking of taking DJ courses because i have interest in it and i think it will be better doing something i like , so what you guys think ? i really need some suggestion thanks smile.gif

I'm glad there'll be a future DJ, especially Techno DJ. But have you considered when you're in the course halfway, you drop off like what you're going to do now? My opinion to you is that you could probably reflect on yourself what kind of person are you and if you really going into it.

Well, anyway I still support you. Good luck, and when you do become a DJ, don't forget to reply me. I'll be there to support, hehe. That's if I'm still in this forum.

Who doesn't hate study but yet we all still put our efforts and time to complete it. You should put study as first priority.

my advise.. you don't need diploma to be your nick.. err to be a terrorist.. and to be a good dj.. of course you need talent there..
also good networking in music industry.. btw.. just try to finish your diploma first.. and maybe you want to attend some music class during your leisure time.. got some cert in music will help..
be a dj is not just to scratch some cds.. but it quite similar with singing..
u got to be universal.. got to know all kind of stuff..
but with good networking.. maybe u wanna jump to dj straight away only if u got the chance.. if u are not good enough.. i'm afraid u'll end up in funfair or as a mall's dj.. (if they want to have diploma as minimum.. u will end up nothing..)

Maybe its just me coz I'm educated overseas, but I feel that most Malaysians have this "go to college just to get degree just to please parents and get a job" mentality.

I had the time of my life in college!! If I could I want to relive that life all over again. I had so many friends, and we had so much social activities and living on campus was a blast! But then most students in Malaysia go to "shop lot" colleges and don't live on campus.

But seriously, I think the idea of going to college just to get a piece of paper to get a job is stupid. You go to college to be a better person, to experience new things, to learn to think differently and to understand the world and yourself.
