Hi.

I found a group of designer that needed some of worldwide support on their product.

Kien is a modular, multiroom sound system, giving you Hi-Fi sound wherever you go.

This new sound system is quite interesting since its can be expanded according to your needs.

I have received some info from the designer that they will be ask Dolby Digital regarding the 6.1, 7.1 and even 9.1 setup.

Please visit at below links, and I will keep this threads updates if needed in the futures.

They just introduce new referral system a few days ago.

Its seem like by crowdfunding, the product can be sold at much cheaper price compare to the market price .

And, FYI, the guys that started this projects is from the Bang & Olufsen Sound Engineer, sound legit so far.

I already backed a few crowdfunding before, the delay on the products shipment can't be avoided, but the fun doing all this thing is much higher smile.gif.

And, by starting this thread I hope we (and I) can make some request to the creator to update and make some modify to their products.

I've asked about the DTS encoded in the system, since Dolby Digital is on their drawing from the start.

BTW, if the crowdfunding is failed (not achieved the target), the pledge will be fully returned to us 100%.

Received 1st gen Pebble (previously), and waiting for my Nevo smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

And my previous backed projects failed (not achieve the target, target too high) sad.gif
Refunded a few day after the deadline.

And its really fun doing this crowdfunding (Indiegogo, Kickstarter, etc)

Hope got some more feedback from LYN, then I can directly email the creator.

Ahahaha...

This system Sats speaker can be put at distance from the Subs(Subs is the main unit for input).
The system will auto calculate the distance or placement (L/R or rear).

And the sats can be stand alone (to stream our music from wifi or Bluetooth).

Kien is capable of handling lossless audio, with files such as flac, or wave, with a limitation of 16-bit/44.1 kHz. You can stream to the sub over Wi-Fi, and the sub will communicate to the sats over Bluetooth. The sub has one dedicated Bluetooth antenna per sat. The bit rate of one Bluetooth antenna is 800 kbps, and that’s enough to stream one channel of a wave file (which is 705 kbps). For FLAC files, the bitrate ranges from 200 to 250 kbps per channel.

The Sub is main unit in the System (150W Class D Amp, 6.5 inch x 2).

The Sats is the speaker that can be attached on the Sub that can create either a soundbar or a full
5.1 System or 7.1 or even 9.1 (detach the sats and place its accordingly) as on the photos.
