Hi,

I have been working here for almost 3 years. Boring but pay is much better compared with Malaysia. It's is very safe here too. Even small robbery case will make it to newspaper headlines.

But working pace is much faster. You wont go out with frens or yamcha after work. That's what my frens at Malaysia normally do. But I always go back home after work. Too tired and lazy to go out after work. That's why I feel working environment here is different.

Does not apply to non-resident. If not mistaken, even if u earn less tha 20k perannum, u still have to pay 15% tax. Those who are in SG less than 183days are considered non-residents. So still have to pay 15% regardless how much u earn. How i know..coz kena be4.
*
no...if u earn less than 20k...u don have to pay tax...i think min income is 20k to get taxed....

sg goverment will even give u a msg "Thank you for your nation building"

i think west have to wait till 55 years old...while east can withdraw their money when they return to malaysia....provided they give up their PR and will not return to work at SG anymore....

maybe have to consider moving to east if wanna take out the cpf....

Sure got, but then again, it depends on how much they want you lah. But doesn't hurt to ask your new boss.

I think all buses stop at least once for toilet break.
*
Doesnt hurt but it is embarassing. Better save enough money for 1-2 months usage before coming sg.

yeah... but where?  and if steamboat at places which is good we have to book the place.. if not later go there no place end up waiting only...

from experience usually better to have gatherings at places like McD or Kenny Rogers.. a bit easier to organise....

so far I got 5 ppl on my side including people that has PMed me....

can go to suntec for steamboat....i think around 25 per pax....its more expensive than others.....or steamboat at bugis or east coast(forgot the place....but quite popular in singapore cos its cheap)....

actually there are many places with good food....one outing not enuf....i think have to arrange once every month.....then only u can get the chance to explore....i feel that the seafood and japanese food here is better than msia....much fresher....its worth a try....

when is this outing?....maybe i will join too....
