isn't study in singapore alot more expensive then in malaysia? how about the idea of working in singapore, while doing distance learning with malaysia programe?

Although SG more expensive, but nevermind... at least quality is better than any institute in JB can provide. If got company sponsor for study like my uncles company... that would be sOoOOOoOOOo nice.... OMG... when I can have this chance..

yeah unless they sponsored u. else i would rather take the distance/e-learning programme offered by KL private instituition. only need to go back to sit for certain exam few times a year.

not really more expensive, they have grants. gov give out alot grants. Me, i studied in one of the college in kl.. course fee 50k+... my brother doing same course in singapore, finishing soon, after convert back to RM.. less than 20K. So it all depends where u study or what course.

Is it difficult for graduates in mechanical engineering from university science Malaysia to ge a job in Singapore..i worked before with the local Singapore company around two months as production worker.Izzit its will help me to getting a job there easier..??what is the average price for a Malaysia's fresh graduates from mechanical field...

I worked, got my part time degree, bought a hse, married at Spore...
Now I back to KL... and realize I have hard time to adapt the life here, as had been in comfort zone for too long.
So my advise is if u only out to Spore to dig gold, do not stay too long.  Otherwise u'll feel lost and depress when u back here.

Really alot ar? I worry if can't get any job there, then I have to move back to KL... Coz I plan to work at SG and stay at JB for sometime one.... 

I must admit I am a lazy person thus Spore does suit me more as she provides comveniency.
I can drive but I dun like to drive thus Spore public transport really helps.  Eatery places are conveniently within walking distance at both working and residential places without scare of snatch or rains as most linkways are sheltered.  Their banks and govt bodies services are so much efficient than KL.  The scenario is they have longer q, but definitely shorter waiting/processing time compared to KL...Btw, most of the bank and govt services could be done via phone or internet.
I dun need to mention Spore broadband/wireless provider as many has elaborated that...Msia Tmnet is just 
And...Spore is cheaper than KL in term of dollar to dollar comparison! 

Spore working life is quite versatile. U get to expose to multinational cultural since most companies there are Asia Pac hub.  Many foreigners work there thus equal opputurnity as long as you are outstanding.

Nevertheless, Spore does have their boring part.  Too small the island and u'll really get bored after many weekends there.  The govt is efficient but kinda like Mahathir time - one man say all...but why I care? I am not their citizen.

Jurong Island is at another island. Transport is provided by the company hires you.

Alexandra Distripark is pretty easy to get around with public transport.

Would also want to correct this misconception. You do NOT need to become PR to service your 3-yr bond after graduation. The bond is just that you have to work in Singapore for 3 yrs. You can still be under Employment Pass, if you do not want to apply for PR.

In case someone tries to debate this, I have completed my 3-yr bond, and am still on EP after 6 yrs, since I do NOT have any intention of applying for PR.
